Some videos feel like an advertisement disguised as content, but this feels like a phenomenal tutorial disguised as a demo. I've been wanting more multiband dynamics content from seed to stage, so this was a hidden gem. I'll be coming back to this for reference later.
Yeah this is a pretty sweet vst. I like the visual feedback it gives and having algorithms that measure the overall perceived volume is something I've wanted. Im glad to see there are still useful plugins coming to market.
The one thing I really wish they'd implemented was the dynamic-phase crossovers as seen in Pro-MB. They seem to understand the principle with the UI, but the implementation isn't quite what the UI is displaying. The issue with the bandsplitting happening in this plugin is that you're either getting preringing or dispersion. It's a really subtle effect, but especially because this is more or less a solved artefact, it makes me disappointed when it's not implemented. Other than that this plugin has a lot of fantastic things going for it.
With lookahead enabled, I would imagine you could match the sound of the loop without it if you turn up the attack time a bit. Would have loved to hear you try that here. Anyhow, great video!
