The weird thing is that MMT is the best youtube analyst of the sport, imo. His logic for prediction, match commentary and post match analysis is always sound
Agreed, his track record on predicting is among the very best. I think he's wrong about Devon though. Devon is way stronger than 2 years ago and Levan has been downhill since then, incl an injury. Devon takes it 4-2.
He's been pretty wrong with Devin in the super heavyweight division since Devon went back up he's pretty much underestimated Devin every step of the way even against his better judgment this is one flight you can't fault him for a prediction like this when one guy outweighs the other by 100 lb
You're looking healthy Michael, not just physically but mentally. Your reaction to that failed deadlift was a smile and laughter, not that long ago it would have greatly upset you. I have zero doubt you'll win your match, even staked money on it
I was thinking the exact same thing. The confidence level in his own strength seems leagues above what it was a year and a half ago. I think you're going to surprise yourself and everyone else at East vs West!! stay strong 💪🏼
Being mentally stronger than you are physically is a blessing and a curse. You will push yourself beyond the breaking point and always be fighting injuries and having to adapt to them. Your one of the best at it micheal and frustrating but you have the mindset the tools and connections you need to perform at your best regardless and those treatments of ketamine helps you shed that ego and be happy with your accomplishments. Keep on keeping on my friend.
I agree with all your predictions. Really good analysis! And it's great to see you back like this. We're waiting to see you back at the top of the pack. Lamparelli is just a small stepping stone.
I don't post much Michael, but you're looking great mentally and physically. Keep your head up buddy and let the healing continue. Remember, everyone gets knocked down, but it's the one's, like you, that keep getting up that experience the greatest success in life. The universe favors the brave and you're certainly brave. Go get them! Oh yeah! That wasn't a failed deadlift, that was your brain saving your toes! You had that no problem.
Jerry is no joke and he just didn't seem to get the rules on go each time he even talked about it you could tell he never put power into anything each match. Ermes is a bad dude but that match was weird.
@mcfarvo yah like you said the match was ugly and he couldn't pin georgi only won by fouls and trying to get out of the strap when his arm was within 1inch of the pad
@@Thereactionary7its because ermes gripped him in his fingers. Jerry is strong when he has the strap because he’s putting all the pressure into the strap thats by his wrist. Which can actually give him an advantage if done right. So jerry basically needed to slip. If he did. He possibly could have won
You will win Michael Todd be safe practicing and when your hand doesn't hold the wait when you're practicing it's called a fail safe because your doing your sets to close together give your self a couple minutes in between set or your hands lock up
You got this mikey. Just believe in yourself and play your strengths. Be wise about it. You got the experience and the power to dominate. Good luck buddy with your upcoming Match. Win or lose your an inspiration for us small town boys.
Play guitar hard in between arm wrestling to stop them fingers opening up, I swear people have told me i'm a nightmare with my finger strength and guitar extends your palm width actually. I might actually make a vid on what changes it did to my hand lol.
Happy You are back to get The Win tou have training so hard and your Will to Win is so High you will get this one !!!! ❤❤❤ much power The Netherlands Is watching and stand after you 100 !!!!
Mr Todd, I just rewatched that Matt vs Lampareli match. That was a dogfight sheesh!!! This is going to be a huge task for you, and i believe you chose him for a reason. If you can down this guy you are well on your way!
RU-vid algorithm boosting comment 💪 ... Poll on who do u WANT to win Devon vs Levan? ofc, Levan is favorite, I'm really curious overall, how many WANT Devon to win here?? MMT wins his next 2 matches and i really WANT this to happen!! hope the Katamine has helped, man!
Mike, are you using straps for any of your other grip related exercises? It might simply be that your hands are tiring out from being a bit overloaded and that's why your grip failed. You easily have the strength to complete 605lbs+. Nice to see how well you're doing and how far you've come!
Love your vids mr. monster.. You and Devon is the reason i startet to watch this wonderfull sport! BTW you are 100 procent gonna win. greetings from Denmark.
@@goroglev glad to to see someone else who shares my mindset on La Rat. It seems he has a die hard following and I just don’t get it. The guy is annoying as all get out
@@minidiggin yeah his popularity brought arm wrestling to my feed and got me interested in watching, now I'm hooked (haha)... but he's gotten more and more like a bully versus all of the past years of fights I've binge watched... he's starting to remind me of Connor McGregor
Real Questions Michael: Do you think your King’s Move can be effective in today’s lineup, which is FAR more powerful than ever before? I am not looking for the hype answer, I would like to hear the honest breakdown. The rules have changed for the King’s Move and it’s a lot more difficult to pull off (which I think is a good thing). Is your primary goal to take down Devon? Beat Ongarbaev? Genadi? Make it into the Top 5? I personally don’t think that you can hang with Levan. It would be interesting to see a match against yourself and Morozov. Your best shape ever was when you beat Devon. You were absolutely the most powerful you have ever looked. You had a ton of size but also probably the most definition as well (your stamina was more than a match for him). I can always tell how ready a person is when they walk out on the stage. When you faced Devon a second time you looked softer and less shapely by comparison. You kept saying it was your best shape but I know that wasn’t true. The same was true for Ermes against Devon. He looked softer and smaller than when he faced Levan. There was also no confidence in his eyes. Do you think you can return to your best shape? Age drains the battery and the athleticism, so an aging athlete has to find another angle. It finally caught John unfortunately.
Umm.. I no this post is mostly about (Lev and Dev) Beasts they both are!.. also in the mix im seeing this Monster Todd and the name (Monster) is looking ready to be (unleashed)!! (CAN I GET A WITNESS YALL)
Love the content and format. Mike 3-0.... too strong... too smart.... people sleep on mikes table IQ. Man is looking and sounding the pinnacle of health too! I really want to see the fire in the eyes when the match starts.
@@MonsterMichaelTodd Ha! best excuse possible. my DL is limited by my (injured) hand as well; it's super frustrating. Though for you, the hand strength has to be a big chunk of the table value.
Maybe he does, and we just don't see it. Devon has to know what he's doing more than any of the people commenting. Whether that's necessary or not, I don't know, since I don't know enough about arm wrestling. I feel Devon would definitely know what he needs to do though. You know he's going to put EVERYTHING into this much because this is his last chance vs Levan almost definitely.
Hell yeah i like the 3-2 Ermes pick. Got it as well, but still.. Alizhan might could be too scary lol 😂like he might be the best we dont know. Match of the night if Devon doesnt win imo. Who fuckin knows though this cards wild
I don’t think Devon would be taking this rematch just for money. We know he does not want to get embarrassed again. I truly believe that he believes he can actually win this time. So I’m excited about it six months ago I was not. I think Levan will be too much, but I am very excited to possibly witness the impossible.
I think devon could but he would have to get super bulked . His stomach due to age has a hard time digesting food. I told him talk to stan efferding he helps the best of the best find foods to bulk that digest well. Im rooting devon.
The comeback Devon has done has been nothing short of remarkable and amazing. He is easily the second arguably the greatest North American arm wrestler of all time when you consider he’s one world titled with both hands. But Levon is on a different level as far as strength goes. And I really believe styles make fights, and I believe this is not a good matchup for Devon. I hope I’m wrong, and he shocke the world. Todd, you are truly an incredible freak of nature athletically for your age. You’re very inspirational regardless of your arm wrestling I enjoy watching your shows.
You look like me after my carpal tunnel surgery.....except I was never dead lifting 605. But lifting 12' sheets of glass with 1 other guy that weigh 260lbs is even scarier when you can't maintain your grip. It's good to have the Lord watching over you at those times. Trust me.😂
Why was your right grip failing on DL? Does this indicate anything to your current arm wrestling shape? Its strange that your right was worse than left.
Micheal I'm not trying to be negative but it seems you are still worried about your bicep which is compensating for the loss of grip! Its like your mind knows what happened and you naturally just let go, but thats just my opinion! Seen it in college baseball with people who had injuries
I agree like if Levan is miles ahead of strength for Devon then hell roll over him but if he isn't like that anymore then i think devon will get the stop and win
You cannot deny what Devon has done for the sport of arm wrestling monster Michael you have done and are doing a lot and you're very nature and know-how makes me love your channel but I never really cared for arm wrestling until I realized the drive and determination in Devon larrott to overcome his opponent. Then just simply looking at everything else is done I mean even taking a ass whooping from Thor ultimately to bring attention to arm wrestling and of course to his self but I mean heck is putting yourself out there. Let's go Devon!!!
The truth of the matter is IF Levan wanted not to lose a single round, he could have just hold anyone in the center. No one would have been able to pin him. The only time when Gasparini was close to pinning him was when Levan was gassed out. So if Levan wanted to, if he didn't make any effort and didn't waste his energy to pin his opponent, Levan could have hold anyone in the center for eternity (not win but also not lose). It is only those efforts to win that can make him lose
