Today we're tearing into this DeWalt D28402 angle grinder to see if we can't figure out why it quit working. The original owner replaced the cord as it had a damaged area, but it turns out that the cord wasn't the issue. The steps taken in this video apply to basically any non-variable speed grinder.

Nice diacritics man!!! did same dial I dint have continually, on the cord or the switch, I got bad brushes I have no idea 🤷🏻‍♂️ where to get some any ideas 💡?? Thanks

Nice, to the point useful diagnostic testing method. Thanks Am I to assume that if I have continuity to the brushes, it's definitely the brushes? The shaft spins freely by hand but my brushes also look like they have plenty of life. When I removed the shaft the brushes pushed in about a cm on both sides.

There's a possibility that it could be the armature but brushes are so cheap it's worth getting a set to throw in and try out. Do the brush springs have decent tension and do the brushes move freely in their holders?
