How important is an exercise for diabetes?
The American Diabetes Association (ADA) recommends 30 minutes of moderate activity most days of the week. If you have trouble fitting in 30 minutes of exercise at a time, consider breaking it up into 10-minute segments. It's best to spread your activity out over at least 3 days during the week and try not to go more than 2 days in a row without exercising. Remember: moderate intensity means that you are working hard enough that you can talk, but not sing, during the activity. Vigorous-intensity means you cannot say more than a few words without pausing for a breath during the activity.
If you haven't been very active recently, start out with 5 or 10 minutes a day. Then, increase your activity sessions by a few minutes each week. Over time, you'll see your fitness improve, and you'll find that you're able to do more. Getting started with Diabetes exercises at home.
If you are just starting out, this free diabetes exercises at home video routine is a great place to begin. You don't even need to leave the comfort of your own home!
Make sure to get your doctor's permission before starting with these diabetes exercises at home. Let them know that you want to do these diabetes exercises at home, they can make sure you're ready for it. If you're new to working out, start slowly.
Check your blood sugar before, during, and after exercise - especially if you’re trying something new - to determine how it impacts your blood sugar levels. And keep a snack nearby in case your blood sugar drops.
Consistency is the KEY to seeing benefits from your diabetes exercises. Try to do this 10-minute video on most days of the week. You can add additional fitness to your day (like strength training and walking!) as you build endurance and health. The key to sticking to your diabetes exercises is to make your workouts fun, appealing, and easy to start. All you have to do is press play to get moving and see results!

You have changed my life. I dont know how shall i repay for this. My Sugar became normal within 2 weeks which is out of my expectation. it was 230 FBS and 350 PP. Now my FBS is 135 and PP 142. Caroline, I found your exercises on You Tube. I am a 70 year old male with type 2 diabetes. I was diagnosed in 2004- I found the low impact routines just awesome. I must be careful because of 2 bad knees- again the low impact works well for me. I will continue to watch and join in. Thank you so much. Mark

Be careful friend. With bad knees we must be very careful to choose exercises for diabetes too.There must be good combination .

I’ve been on my weight loss journey for 5 weeks now. I’ll be 40 on August 23rd. I’ve been a diabetic since I was 21. I hide how much I hate myself by being the life of the party. The big bubbly girl. I been using your workouts for 2 weeks now. It’s low impact and gets my heart going. I check my blood sugar before I do the workout and after. I am seeing a huge difference. @@Smule-hx3no are you drinking a lot of water during the day? My doc once told me not to exercise if my sugar was over 250. That it would make it go up. I’m not a health care professional so I would check with your doc.

I'm holly von Hessler and my sugar levels have gone up dangerously high and this video is absolutely brilliant it's hard but it helped me and I'm going to do this everyday to help me with my diabetes this lady made it so easy for me as I don't do much exercises and I feel stiff but I feel great I know it is the first time I've done this but this lady has shown me that it isn't hard to do and it made me feel 100 times better than this morning when I heard the results I would like to make sure I can share this video with anyone who wants to lose weight and also their mental health

Thanks for the video You are the best health coach I have been doing these exercises for a month and my sugar level became normal And then I got flu I didn't do any exercise for 15 days I was worried about my sugar level But when I checked my sugar level it was all OK no increase of sugar level due to lack of exercises It all happened because of 1 month exercise Now I am all OK and today I have started the exercises again after my illness .thanks a lot Caroline❤

Good morning Caroline, I am Constance Jones, Change on May 8th 21I found your video on the 10 best Exercises for diabetes, I did it before going to bed, This morning I check my blood sugar it was 99, Hallelujah,!!!! I had planned before retiring last night that I would do your Number One video this morning, I have completed it it was wonderful and I was proud of me, I suffer from asthma, As well as being afraid that there's not going to be enough air to take me through a workout, I used to be very active in working out every day, When the pandemic happened the classes that I normally would attend, I could no longer attend, I kept it up for a while at home and walking, Then I fell off the waggon, And the waggon rolled over me and backed up over me, I was in a slump, Not working out 4 weeks . And I pray to God for help to strengthen me back and further in stressed to workout lego this morning was to do your work out i did and I thank you so much, You're being here for people with diabetes or just needing to workout is a blessing. I am thankful to God, For giving you the smart mind and great body to give greatness to all of the people that view your Video. Have a happy Mother's Day

Same here. I dont know yet if Im pre diabetic or diabetic but I had scratch and Im 28. I also grow up anxiety depression and never happy. My biggest hope that I can go, move out, leave this toxic environment

My doctor recently told me I was pre-diabetic, needed to incorporate a low impact routine for my blood sugar. It’s been a week I have stayed with your routine. My body doesn’t help and it’s helping me. You motivate me and feel good after every routine. Thank you.

@@choice9119 looks like you are Indian. Try drinking bitter gourd juice once in 2 days. Little bit more exercise for 6 months should pull you back to normal levels. Also do try skipping afternoon lunch once in a week. Don't worry everything will be alright.

The beauty of the workout is it can be done anywhere and doesn't go on and on and on like many others do. You get a great workout without having to buy a bunch of equipment. P.S. My blood sugars have also lowered.

Every word you said is absolutely true, this is my third day doing this exercise and I feel great, my blood sugar is stable. My craving and hunger feeling got much better. Started doing 20 minute cardio and got dizzy after 5 minutes... was walking then decided to try less aggressive cardio and I hated every minute of it but I pushed through.... but this 😊 I can do this! Thank you for existing I really wanna fight my diabetes! (I drank sugar sodas for years and coffee with sugar because I worked long days...) I’m taken time in the midst of the world being on fire lol to get my health in better place

Wow Caroline I love this video. I'm 53 yrs old and very lazy minded. Exercise is like taboo for me sad to say but honestly. I came across your video while looking for ways to lower my blood sugar naturally the pills makes me drowsy. Makes me go to the bathroom unexpectedly. So tired of it so I stopped taking the meds so many scary side effects. Dr says take them you need them. I found your video I said I'll start tomorrow. When I checked my blood sugars and it read 405. I said OMG I'm starting today just did your workout it was so easy I followed the whole routine with you non stop pretty good for lazy Lou Lou here. I enjoyed it. It was easy to follow for these old bones. After the work out I checked my blood sugars and it read 250 a huge drop I'm gonna press play and do some more and do it every day until I get off the 200 lb mark and keep my sugar under control thanks again Caroline. I'm feel hopeful and better already this is day one you are a very good motivator and teacher. God bless you💖😊

Hi, Caroline! I'm just checking in to let you know how I feel. I started doing this workout about 1 to 2 years ago. It was difficult to keep up. While doing the side arm push, you asked "How are you doing"? I thought to myself I was going to collapse, then you said " Good!" Haha! These days, when you ask yhat, I think "I feel great! I feel thankful I kept at this! I feel better, just like you promised! Thank you again for what you do! My blood sugars are lower now!

I was a former yoga student and exercise teacher.. Even though I became seriously I'll and had 3 strokes and lost my eyesight. Thank god it returned after 82 days in 2018. I crave to have movement and better health. Yes I have diabetes due to aging and ms which are lesions on the brain and covering on the spinal column. I know 100% I can do this specific workout. Thank you for the gift of this video today. You are an earthly angel to me. God creates people like you on the earth to help and guide. You gave me hope that I can improve my health with physical effort and desire. The best thing is you speaking and encouraging us to try without over doing or making it too hard. Thank you. I now know what door I must attempt to walk through. I walked a quarter of a mile four years ago I was walking 5 miles a day. My husband has cancer and had part of his lung removed and will have chemo and radiation. So I must gain strength to care for him. I wear a continuous glucose monitor on my abdomen I will be intrigued to see if I can impact my sugar number with some exercise and walking more. Wish me luck I have had to care for my sick husband while being quite sick myself. I am having the smallest shift to feeling a wee bit stronger with somewhat improved strength. I am a worker. My goal is to reach 2 miles a day walking and 30 minutes of physical exercise.

Really good. I couldn't move my right harm and now I feel so comfortable with it after couples days following you and do your exercise. And also I like when you said you are proud of me ☺☺☺. Actually, I'm diabetic type 2. And my A1C was high and my blood sugar keep going up. So I decided to exercise and look for something good to help me and I found you on RU-vid. Since that day, every morning I do your exercise. It's really good and I feel so healthy. Thank you. 🙏🙏 God bless you 🙏🙏🙏

Oh wow… I don’t think I have diabetes my reading is normal every day… is stay 100,101,118, never higher… my A1C was 7.1 I think I’m gonna gat a second opinion. I’m scared the metforming is gonna take my reading too low being it’s normal already… did you take meds what was your reading? I’m tryna lower my A1C as well. I think I’m prediabetic…

Thanks a lot Hun! I do regular exercise, but I binged on sugar since yesterday (a craving), and my blood sugar has been completely out of wack, making me feel nauseous for hours. But this exercise has helped lower my blood sugar and I've thrown out the sweets in the trash! Thank you! ❤️

For anyone trying to do this exercise and level 2 on the same day, dont do them in order! It’s easier to start with 2, and then right after do 1. 1 is your cool down for 2. If you’re trying to do all 3, I’d suggest 3,1,2. Save your stamina for the hardest first.
