Orb is one of my favorite builds. I tried the pots and anything challenging, only to find their life meters weren't moving down. Blizzard is boring and slow compared to orb. I keep hoping for FO to get buffed.

I had almost BIS and everything set. I'll try Lilith now. Nope, even trying to use ice and fire shields took so long I couldn't make a dent. It's really pathetic.

Mekuna build sucks ok he did 147 pit but cmon with immunity and basically is just coz aspects of hectic

Nerfed my rogue so hard I'm now getting slaughtered in helltides. Was running mid level pits and tier 90 nm. Now am barely surviving t 50 nm. I didn't see anything g about that in the patch notes

i haven't even pre order for this reason never give them money first make sure you get a good product then give them the money so that away if they under deliever your not out on anything alsways get what you should before you pay. or you pay and get screwed and your stuck with what ever they give you.

@@Lurkin17 sure is. Blizzard, in their infinite wisdom of their own classes, gave the strongest class an uncapped damage multiplier as a key passive and this is the result.

That BS flameshield build those 2 Chinese dudes keep running are FKing us on getting any real makeover for this class. Legendary nodes that cap, while other classes go to infinity, we need 3 Enchantment slots, 3 rings and the ability to run staff, wand and focus all at the same time. We need better paragon nodes and a board overhaul.

@@tumbleweed0u812 I wouldnt even say they arw the problem, but no big youtuber runs sorc and blizzard seems to only pay attention to them, so if they dont talk about the problem nothing happens. And that annoying build need to fish for bosses to go up on pit and abuses a bug with shatter. Then blozzard looks at the ladder and thinks we're fine. Also, I think it would be more fun if sorcs could use more rings instead of more weapons. Would help in a similar way but fits better with the class

I want flame shield immortal to be removed. Despite all my builds having it right now, it isn’t good game design. Its just sort of, well we have this so we may as well use it

yeah its really unfortunate a fun and fast build hits like a pea shooter. even when you get GG BIS GG BIS gear it's passable, but underwhelming

barb dont get fun until you hit level 80 then switch to a bash and then your instantly doing over a 2 million dps then once you get to 100 and get master working in your doing 10 mill damage thats how far ahead Barb is over sorc. not even kidding.

Shako just sort of solos it. We can’t really scale poison damage that well? But like I said it has play on blizzard. Its issue is just the poison damage doesn’t do a ton for us because we don’t need the rasha stack on builds that don’t need ranks. It’s definitely a great item. It’s just a hard slot sometimes. Shako is just goated

frozen orb is pretty fast, so is blizzard. You just want to farm a range where you don't get gibbed by sharpshooter

Well it does feel good that I killed Lilith with my Frozen Orbs while the Necro and Barbs couldn’t do it. But they totally slap me in the Pit.

not really. I think the winter board is about where it ends and requires fishing for bosses with mobs

Rogues are good but you know we needed a little buff too help defensely and I use andariel's visage so that helps

not really worth it. has about the same value as damage to close. only build that really gets 100% crit chance is blizzard and it wants ice spike dmg tempers

Because it’s shit build noone playing except few streamers for hard pushing pit. « Normal » sorc build are meh. Barb has 3 builds at the top

That build is a blip on the radar and not representative of the class. Without perma flame shield that build is borderline unplayable because of how clunky it is. Next season I gaurantee they are fixing permanent flame shield and that build will cease to exist in its current state, meanwhile the rest of sorcerer will stay about the same. That is why I ignore the build, because it’s an extreme outlier that is having a brief moment in the sun. It can only reliably do a single boss out of the entire rotation in high tier pushes. If you think this one build represents a class, you don’t know sorc my guy. As someone who actually plays and kits out most sorc builds every season, please trust me when I say I know the relative strengths of all the sorc builds and it’s not that good, especially on bosses. Pit 100+ was a rude awakening on off meta builds, just how bad they are. Chain lightning is about 4x worse than blizzard. Blizzard is about 4x worse than bleed barb

The balance team has no clue what they’re doing, unless the campfire chat next week has some real bangers about massive sorc paragon overhauls. Oh my bad it’s only 75 billion, mean while blizzard and BL and frozen orb are probably outputting at best maybe 30M DPS. Its literally better by a factor of 250x 😂😂😂

I believe they're artificially introducing bugs into the game to bolster certain builds. Why do you think they focused so hard to tell us about the necro and barb changes before the season released? They boost these builds for marketing purposes to increase player count. Could be a conspiracy though. My actual point is you can buff builds without directly adding more damage. Like nerfing the pit is one.

Why don't you make one and just push the pit with it.

With a cheesy immortal build that not only requires perfect rolls but even if you somehow succeed in getting everything you need, it's still only usable against one boss. Yeah I very much don't undersand why sorc players are complaining.

Mekuna spent around 100 Billion gold to build his character. 100 billion. The build he is running cannot function without immortal flame shield, as it plays extremely clunky without it: perma flame shield is undoubtedly getting fixed in S5. So the build will fall back down to A tier where it was in the PTR. You really need to look at the future when you talk about balance. That build is an extreme outlier, where as the root of the class is rotten, and has had bad boss damage since S0. It’s an issue they’ve never really addressed, it’s gotten better, but the paragon needs to be looked at and changed for the whole of sorc to feel better. I don’t think the clears of 3-5 sweaty grinders fishing for a single boss so they can shatter cheese with a weird build means the class is good. It means the shatter key passive is good. So should every sorc build just ignore everything else and just become a shatter build and only be able to do bosses with mobs? Go watch mekunas stream. He spends 6 hours at a time doing runs trying to find spirit caller boss. And half his runs get scuffed because he actually cannot kill a single enemy unless he kills regular mobs that cannot go unstoppable on top of them and they shatter. The base damage and scaling of all our skills simply isn’t there. The shatter key passive is essentially acting like how rogues victimize passive is double dipping, applying multipliers a bunch of times. You got your multis for the firebolt damage. Then you hit the enemy with a bunch of fireballs, which gets all your multis again and deal 10% of your burning damage as direct. That direct damage gets multiplied again. And lastly when the enemies shatter, everything gets multiplied again. Then you look at like a blizzard build. Multipliers just apply once. And you can barely clear a T120 with the best gear anyone could ever conceive. Meanwhile a mid specced barb can giga blast a 100 or 110, while the rest of sorc is left to farm tier 71-81, a factor of 4-8x as worse

Man, Mekuna kind of cursed us with the pit clear. But to answer your question, think of this as an analogy: Lets say you as an American tell your friend who lives in France that Americans are suffering from poverty. Your French friend tells you thats not the case because Elon Musk lives in the US and is a billionaire so you can't be right. Essentially, your friend has used one person to represent an entire class. Literally 1 person out of hundreds even millions of others. That's what every other class that's not sorc is doing. Using mekuna to justify why the class isn't in a terrible situation.

While i agree he's still downplaying that sorcs have an immortal build thats completed the hoghest pit level. You shpuldnt say sorcs are bad this season as some builds are good.
