Diablo 4 Seasons May Have A Problem 

first of all: we do not know anything about seaons yet... 2nd: there are so many ways to avoid re-grinding this stuff: a. add adventure mode and simply unlock all the important stuff like shrines/stat points right away. b. add a simple starter quest which unlocks all this stuff at once.. or maybe 1 quest per act... not that hard to programm a quest that simply unlocks those things as reward

he's feedback has been so out there for a fucking beta. I get the concerns for a game he may want to pour thousands of hours into, but trashing on balancing before the game has even released is kinda mad...There's also NOTHING that indicates that renown (a phrased used to distinguish someone's achievements) would be wiped each season.

@@iabaca I guess you haven't played D3 a lot, paragons levels which are separate from regular levels get wiped, thus as renown grants skill points/paragon it gives an advantage. Imagine you are a new player and start directly at seasons of D4, if they don't wipe renown an old player from D4 will have an enormous advantage with having bonus skill points and paragon points as soon as they start. In beta of d4 you can make a new char/class to test and start with 2 more additional skillpoints at level 1 prior to attacking any mob if you've unlocked them via renown. Yes paragons do unlock at 50+, so it might take a while to unlock them again on a new char in seasons, but having additional points still gives you an advantage season's are supposed to be for a same level field for all new/old players, but having the renown advantage would be a big difference. His concerns/feedback are definitely valid and warranted.

I'm totally with you. we get upset that maybe when we play 5 times in the x season xy it sucks, we haven't even played it to the end yet. Just enjoy the game and I also mean the lvl phase. Endgame isn't everything, but unfortunately it seems to be the only thing people care about lately... no idea why.

this concern is on the same lines as saying "i'm concerned that my legendaries will wipe every season"

@@iabaca i dont go that far, but D4 business model is totally diferent from D3, this channel is making assumptions based on how seasons worked on D3, D4 is much more a live service than D3 was, they want to continue to add features, quests much like an mmorpg (kind like lost ark), since season 1 starts after release date and probably many gamers of the player base will have a completed campaign, i have my doubts season 1 will require repetition of all side quests and tasks

you are delusional if you think this will still be fun if you are in season 25.. you are also delusional if you think collecting 100+ lilith statues every season is the opposite of dull and turns you into a genius.. hard to say what you think because your mumbling at the ende makes no sense in the english language. i quote: "but yeah, mimimi i can not do on dull think i have to do a other 1 time a season ." hilarious,, calls dungeon grinding dull and thinks clicking on the same statues over and over again every season is refreshing and fun... nah its not, and hence it is absolutely right for people to think about it... luckily there are so many easy ways to solve the issue

@@crappiefisher1331 no one knows if it still a think in seasen xyz and after doing it for the 4./5. ... time y will remember most of the lokations and take the most in passing during lvlphase. and remember y don't need it for the renown. I see some endgamebeta leak so the few ponts from the altars don't really matter

@@franzmauermann4386 people not knowing but worrying about it is the whole point of the video.. and most people will probably hope that they don't have to repeat all those things every season.. will get old and dull very quickly, just like D3 season did.. i hope they take a page out of PoE's book when it comes to seasons, instead of this boring "run 1 rift after the next" nonsense... seasons should actually implement new stuff to do which then also finds it's way into the base game and stays.. not every PoE season was a banger, but most of them added something new to do and work on into the game, which makes them 10 times better than diablo 3 seasons

I've played 1000's of hours in D2 and I can say D4 is better. D2 was good for its time. D2R was fun but it's time for change.
