My Edge CTS2 monitor does the same thing in my 17 Duramax. I just touch the screen and my monitor will turn on. Something to do with the remote start and the OBDII port i think

Pw Pw I’d say. 7 out of 10. I still have a couple issues but overall it’s not bad. You can get the same tunes and programming ability with the Intune i3 from DiabloSport for $200 cheaper. That’s a good option if you don’t want the HUD.

I think it would be fine, these trucks are so detuned from the factory its ridiculous

PoloSRT22 ! Thanks man! I got a custom tune from Diablew for $150, he will re-adjust the tune for up to a year, after that it’s $75. It will accept any custom tune you write, but not sure if DiabloSport offers any additional tunes to buy. I do like it, but I just don’t find myself using the display for much of anything. If you don’t need the heads up display than the i3 would be perfect. I will say I just got 23mpg on a road trip in my lifted Silverado which was pretty good! The Diablew tune definitely helped with that

It doesn't have a battery so yea its gonna be light, also the lighter the better so it doesnt fall off the windshield

Jeremiah Hill What’s up man! It has the same issues as before. When I remote start you have to touch the screen to come on so That issue is resolved, but sometimes it’ll say loading gauges and it will not load so I’ll have to unplug then plug it back in and then it will work. If you don’t need the display, I would get the Intune i3, Same programming just no display.

No all hand helds are trash a dynotune hptuners software from a performance shop is what yours needs alot more parameters & settings also better gains such as better overall gains

I am working offshore and have not yet purchased one. I am leaning to going for a Dyno Tune at a local shop and they said they will take care of the throttle-by-wire delay and guarantee peak performance and satisfaction. I haven’t tried the Pedal Commander yet myself. Have either of you tried it yet?? Apparently the Pedal Commander doesn’t plug in to the OBD port. At least on the GMC review I watched. Thoughts yet?

I didn’t have it dyno’d but I’d guess between 20-25hp. I felt more throttle response and higher speeds at the top of each gear.

You can only use it for one vehicle because it recognizes your VIN number and it becomes “married” to it. Also, there are different model numbers for different makes of vehicles. A Ford model number wouldn’t work for a Chevrolet

But you can by another license for $150 if you want to use it for another vehicle

Cam Hosh It’s pretty good! The freezing happens every once in a while, but not too bad. I went from 10mpg to 14mpg on the streets and 13mpg to 17mpg on the highway

Aaron Francisco Yes, I got a Diablew tune. I like it a lot. I had him tune it for performance and mpg which turned out to be pretty good. I get between 19-22 on the hwy and 15mpg on the streets. It’s tuned to run 91 octane. The freezing up didn’t stop but it doesn’t do it as much. If you don’t want the heads up display then I would go with the i3 Diablosport has. You can get the same tune that comes with the tuner or add Diablews custom tune. It’ll save you $200. I don’t hate the tuner but Diablosport needs to fix some bugs with it. Thanks for watching bro!

David Carreon yes I got it. It’s nice and was pretty stoked with the performance of just the stock tunes. Shifts so much better and finally turned off the v4. It’s not as buggy as this one in the vid but I have had to unplug it and plug it back in before then it works just fine. Hopefully an update will fix those issues. I have a brand new one still in the box if you want it for 500 shipped it’s yours

Jorrell Yazzie My buddy has the Intune i3 which is around $379 vs $599 for this T2. We did a heads up race with his i3 installed and my truck stock. He won by half a truck, when I installed the Trinity T2, I beat him by a bumper. I think if you don’t need the display then the i3 has more value because of the lower price point. So if I had to do it over again, I would just get the i3. Also, the gas mileage increased to about the same on both The T2 and i3.

prettyboyswa914 Yes, you can add custom tunes. I have one from Diablew. Not too familiar with the Phoenix, but as cheaper option, if you don’t care about the display, I would get the Diablosport Intune i3 programmer. It’s about $200 cheaper but no display

Joe Kitchen not sure if the i3 is better. My T2 is very unstable. Lots of freeze ups and reboots. Looks like the T1000 has better flexibility for customization.

Tony I do, yeah! If you want the display and the extra features, than it’s worth it, but if you just want the tune, get the i3

David Sexton Tap on “Tuning”, then select “Tune Vehicle”, Select “Diablo Tune” then select “Firm or Hard shift tune” if that’s what you want. Once you confirm and accept the tunes. It will ask you if you want to change other parameters, Speed limiter will be one of them, you’ll be able to change it there.

My issue is it just sits their and spins and says getting customization data

Curious, using the Pedal Commander, both the T2 & Pedal Commander require the OBD-II Port; does the T2 Tune stay loaded in the ECM once you remove the T2, then allowing you to install the Pedal Commander into the OBD-II Port?

Frank Nixon the pedal commander runs to the wires that are hooked to the pedal and the T2 runs to the OBD-ll so you will be able to leave the T2 hook up

Wilbert Thibeaux, Thanks for the speedy reply, I appreciate it! My 2014 Sierra SLT 5.3 has so much throttle lag and shifts way to quick (meaning at low rmp). I put the K&N CAI and added the Flowmaster Outlaw. No just need to get rid of the Throttle Lag and get Tuned up! Thanks again!

Frank Nixon when you get the T2 it will take away throttle lag but when I attached the pedal commander and put it on spot + x4 it will be a whole new truck
