Dude! Still loving the videos! Great job. I have a suggestion for you: I’m really enjoying your rating system. Whats the possibility of putting all that info on a spreadsheet of some sort that way we can see which paddles have the highest/worse rating in each of your categories? And congrats on getting to 1K followers!

I love all the stats and rankings. Do you have a website or a Google sheet where you keep track of all the paddles you've reviewed and their rankings in different categories? I'd love to peruse it and see how this compares to some other paddles I've used in the past.

Great video! Just think comparisons would run a bit better if you could add more paddles such as dbd, ronbus, and etc. Prices are high for Perseus and 006 so not everybody can compare to that.
@stspickleball
@stspickleball Год назад
I agree that's actually why I compare alot of paddles to the 006 and the Perseus is because they are so expensive and don't really perform very well for the price. It's my effort to save people money and energy etc. Thank you for the feedback though. I take it to heart and I will try and implement what you're asking for in future videos :)

spin wears out fast on all carbon face or any pickleball paddle for that matter. any new paddle with carbon face is going to have nice noticeable spin. 20 play session and the spin is i guess down to 1200-1300
@stspickleball
@stspickleball Год назад
Not true. It depends on the durability. Also if you watch my other videos you'll see even new there's a drastic difference between the spin numbers, even fresh. Some paddles with higher quality carbon fiber also maintain their high spin numbers longer than others by quite a large margin.
@golfmaniac007
@golfmaniac007 11 месяцев назад
@@stspickleball in normal play where most of pickleball players don't have nice clean courts.....the sand and dirt debris wears down on the carbon face. its like sanding the carbon face with sandpaper in a way. i have a golf background and have some knowledge about face wear of golf wedges in bunkers full of sand. yes you can prolonged the life of paddle facewear if you play on nice clean court surfaces free of sand particles.
@stspickleball
@stspickleball 11 месяцев назад
@@golfmaniac007 I have an extensive golf background too I was actually rank 1 in North Texas growing up. And your comment is true for anything but the point here is that sand or wear and tear is going to wear down lesser quality materials like lesser quality carbon fiber faster regardless. The point is to buy a high quality piece of equipment that will outlast lesser quality equipment in any playing condition.

@stspickleball
@stspickleball 11 месяцев назад
@@golfmaniac007 Toray T700 is considered the highest quality T700 carbon, but 18K carbon fiber is considered more durable than Toray T700. We will see T800 and 18K coming into the market soon, but this is the first I've seen.

Beat doubles paddle you can buy? I wouldnt think any elongated paddle but be top for doubles
@scottfrancis13
@scottfrancis13 9 месяцев назад
Best?
@stspickleball
@stspickleball 9 месяцев назад
It does kinda depend on your play style. If you play doubles with the same partner a lot and you play on the left side and stack you may want an elongated power as that’s the more tempo / power oriented side usually. Also if you’re a banger and a crasher which does work up to a pretty high level rather well you will want more power. But if you’re looking for an all court paddle that does everything well I would go with the Six Zero Double Black Diamond or the GRUVN MUVN 13S if you want more control 😊

I recently broke my volair forza mach 1, would you recommend this after that paddle? Or would you recommend something else? I just want max power/spin.
@stspickleball
@stspickleball 11 месяцев назад
Hmm well, if you're looking for max spin / control this is the paddle. If you're looking for max power I don't think this is the paddle. I think if you're looking for max power + amazing spin I would go with the Black Diamond Power Paddle from Six Zero you can use my code for that if you'd like, that would be my recommendation. The Diadem Edge 18k is for those looking for maximum control / spin specifically.

I have both and the 18k is better. DBD is a great paddle don’t get me wrong, but the new edge is much better at the NVZ. If you need additional power in ur game, stick to the DBD, if you need the extra control run with the 18k

@stspickleball
@stspickleball 8 месяцев назад
Control and touch are quite a bit less on the power version. The 18k carbon fiber is already quite a bit firmer than t700 carbon fiber we see on most paddles so when thermoformed it’s extremely firm and poppy. I’d go with the non power version if you think you want to get this paddle. And if you want to grab a power paddle I would get a Hudef Viva Pro Gen 2. Same coupon code STSPICKLEBALL (I have a code for all manufacturers so you know I’m unbiased. It’s extremely powerful but only $117 so half the price of the 18k.
