Thanks for checking out this Diadem Elevate 98 racquet review. A quality stick from a new manufacturer in the tennis racquet market. Written review: tennisnerd.net/gear/racquets/r...
I love this racquet. I own the standard and the Tour. I actually preferred the standard version weighted up to my spec as the weight distribution of the Tour is a bit too in the middle of the frame for my liking whereas with the standard racquets there's tons of room for customisation.
I have the same issue with the Diadem Elevate FS 98. It gets a little unstable in stock form. I have played with 4 different strings at 22kg. It moves really fast. I make big swings. I'm going to put some weight on 10-2 o' clock, because it feels a bit light on the head.
I also hit out with this racquet when hitting out with this racquet. 🤓 Nice example of this type of frame though, especially for a first try. I agree it feels like a Head racquet. When I hit with it I told them I thought it felt like a Youtek Speed MP. There is another one that is more like a Pure Drive. It has an oval beam. It looks like a rocket launcher to me, but it might be worth a demo if someone likes that kind of thing.
How would this compare to the radical microgel mp. That's my main stick. As you know the radical mp went to the 16x19 after the microgel mp where is was a 18x20 in the microgel iteration.
I was amazed at how well the Elevate played. Bit light in stock form so added about 4g lead in the upper hoop and 5g in the handle, to provide a bit more backbone, stability and finishing power. Very much a players racquet but I preferred it over the Blade 98.
Hi i have a prince exo3 tour team i want a new racquet not of prince similar of mine but with more weigth, this is good option or other suggestion. I have a playstyle like zverev, baseliner, good backhand,médium forehand and good serve pls help me.
The spacing in the central mains is too open. I've been playing for a year now and I can't hit flat on the forehand side. The Elevate is by nature a powerful and very spin friendly racket.
Gym Morrison The Diadem strings for sure, Luxilon Alu Power Soft, Laserfibre JB Tour 100, Volkl Cyclone Tour, Solinco Tour Bite Soft...if they are softer they are usually livelier!
Nice review! Btw which version of the CX 200 tour will you enjoy most long term 18x20 or 16x19 you think? have you been able to playtest the 16x19 some yet? And do you like the black code 1.24 string?
CoDINmyHEART I have used the 16x19 for about two hours and so far the 18x20 gives me a bit more confidence. But will play with it more before I can write a review! Have not yet tried the Black Code!
@CoDINmyHEART The CX Tour 16x19 plays similarly to other 18x20 patterns. Kinda reminds me of the Ultra Tour a little. The crosses are really tight. But I would expect the the CX Tour 18x20 would still provide better control.
I think there is a written review on tennisnerd.net - The Solstice Power is softer and more powerful than Cyclone, quite close to a Cyclone Tour. I prefer the feel of Solstice Power compared to Cyclone Tour though.
Darshan Premkumar Thanks for responding. I’ve heard a lot of good things about their brand, but didn’t know if it was recommended for high school level. Thanks.
I have the Nova FS 100 and the Elevate FS 98. I can definetly suggest the Nova for a beginner. I have it currently strung with the Diadem Solstice Power 16L at 22kg. It's very forgiving. I rarely hit out of bounds. Veeery comfortable, maneuvarable. I feel that the Nova will allow me to improve my game a lot in the areas I'm not good yet and the Elevate will take me to the next level. I have been playing with both of them for about a month. I will be testing many strings on my Instagram Account. You can see playing footage there.
Bora Sener this looks and feels exactly like the instinct tbh. i was using the instinct and then borrowed this racket from my friend and it was really similar

@@akbarberlianI've switched to 2-handed backhand since June 2023. Still, when I play with the Elevate, the 1-handed backhand seems easier to hit. The 2-handed backhand leads is rarely hit clean by me.
