I've been playing with the Nova for about 2 years now. It's my first 100 sq inch, 16*19, 300 gram - racket. Really helped me develop on my tennis. Imagine me using it as a complete beginner and how many misshits I must have had with it, still, I don't get discomfort or big vibrations out of it. It's high RA mostly trasforms in too much power now that I play at a higher level. I'm now using 98 sq inch rackets or smaller and I plan on beefing up the Nova to 335gr+ with added lead in the handle and 9 and 3 o' clock. I want to see if I can string it high at 24-25kg to get less power and better control. Till now, I've been stringing it at low 20s. The string pattern is less open than the Speed MP and Tf-x1 300. The Nova is by no means an uncomfortable/stiff racket. I don't see how it could cause arm issues.

I had a plus as well, didn't like it . I grabbed a regular 27 " and it's worlds better. Became my new racket of choice .

How is it on comfort? I have a tender elbow and usually stay away from a 69ra, but maybe with the foam?

Good shout, very comfortable, much more so than you would expect for a 69 ra, that surprised me too. Although in our work there are other things outside of stifness rating that will make a racket comfortable or not for an individual - contact point, head shape etc etc. Technique aswell. But overall I had no comfort issues with full beds of poly too. I suspect the foam indeed is doing a good job there.

Hi Andy, thank you for this review! How does the Diadem play compared to the Wilson Blade 100? Is the control of these rackets comparable?

Hi I have both rackets. I put hyper G 17 on them. Dwelling time is ridiculous on blade 100. If you prefer hitting flat & addressing small target, go with blade. Not so much easy power. Spin was great. Control is much better than Nova Diadem nova has crazy spin. Not just great, it’s crazy. Hitting flat is not easy, yet spin is crazy. More free power, still at no PD/ezone level. HyperG 17 is perfect for blade, yet Nova needs round poly 1.25 or higher to tame launch angle & enabling flat. On great day I prefer Blade 100. On other days, I go with nova. On humiliation day (dont wanna play but i have to) I go back to Ezone or PD

If you have babolat soft drive (‘95) or babolat pure drive original (‘98) or babolat APD original (‘06) this nova is similar. That’s why babolat was really a groundbreaking company back then.

Hi, yes a good shout, they are similar. I would say the Diadem is faster through the air and despite the RA is more comfortable. Similar performance characteristics yes
