Hi Nobby. Congrats on the channel birthday and the dial gauge fix. Unfortunately threads differ between brands, so swapping stems/probes is not usually an option. I had cataract surgery on both eyes 12 months ago. Not a worry. They advise not to look down more than necessary for a little while, so may pay to limit lathe work for a bit. Cheers Rob
