In this video we are performing a test where we dial in both sides of the barrel in instead of co-axially dialing in the bore on the muzzle side which is where we are doing our machining. You can see that even though both indicators are reading very little runout, we still have lots of runout in the bore if we bring our muzzle indicator about an inch from the muzzle. This in our opinion would not be good for barrel threading.

Dan, we have two manual machines that are both Clausing Colchester lathes.

Hello, when i saw this vidéo i m asking something ? If you center you barrel with a range road and two indicator only on one side , and if you center the muzzle at the Spider with an indicator and an other at side of chamber like this vidéo it Will the same thing or not ?
