What is diamond clarity? What is the best diamond clarity rating? What are inclusions? Today I'm answering all those questions and going over one of the "4C's" of diamonds used to determine a diamond's value that was invented by the GIA, diamond clarity. I'm sharing my best buying advice for diamond clarity, including what clarity range you should absolutely avoid, and which diamond clarity rating give you the most value. You'll even see a diamond clarity chart to determine which clarity grade you like the best.
You can learn more about the GIA grading system and the 4C's here: 4cs.gia.edu/en...

There are so many videos that say difference between VS 1 and SI are not visible to naked eye but it does matter. The sparkle seems better with higher clarity

What is the difference in prices between a massive rough with very good clarity and a polished ,cut diamond certified but not voluminous in size ?

All the kay Jewelry, Macys and J.C. Penney’s, Zales are all i1, i2 and i3. It’s so disappointing. They have all the commercials and this is where the average person goes. Like me. I got an i1, 1 ct, GH color diamond set. With 1/5 ct center stone. But I was smart enough to only pay 900 for it. They actually have it listed for 3,200. And the rhodium fades after 6months. We need a serious PSA on these places. Good companies don’t waste buyers money on ads. I just wish someone we could find you all more efficiently.

Does clarity matter on 1/4 and 1/5 carat rings? Like dainty small diamond rings. Would color matter more?

Yes clarity is important,if you have a good diamond it will always have a value and demand, most people are trying to sell si1 diamonds cause they make more money in that

@@letstalk1060true that. Most retailers push for SI 1 saying that the customer is saving money. Actually it's the other way around. No retailer ever is gonna think of what benefits the customer's pocket
