The thing he is using to hold the ring while he works is called Thermoplastic. It is a reusible plastic that you heat up in hot water to turn soft and it will self harden in around 30 seconds.
Although you most definitely can use thermo plastic, I think what he is actually using is pitch like what is used for chasing and repousse. Which is more of a resin wax I believe. I could be wrong too.lol but that's what it looks like to me.
Grazie per questi video, insegnano tantissimo. Avrei delle domande, sempre che possiate rispondere. Che bulini avete utilizzato? Mi sembra all'inizio triangolare, ma non son sicura. Cambiate o usate sempre i soliti?
What is the name of the tool you are using to carve? is it always the same size for all your carvings,by the way i enjoy watching your videos amazing work!

Obrigado, uso lâminas para corte brilhante. Existem dois tipos de lâminas, uma com corte de aço mais forte e outra mais suave, adequada para incisões e acabamentos brilhantes.
what in the hell are you setting on this beautiful diamond, bdw your setting is way too ugly, not professional at all, there are certain tools for not having shitty angles
First, it is not a diamond It is a synthetic stone (Cubic Zircon) , second, it is a simple exercise for anyone who wants to try, using only basic tools. I give you some advice, when you do the critical, try to bring an improvement. In the your profile I have not seen any video .
Jennifer Brewer if you want to check my work go on google yeprem jewellery.com and youll find some of my creativity ☺ ps:im not being a dick,it just i wont upload videos showing people unuseful tips on a plain metal for whom have no idea what it is...☺
Levon, do you realize what fabulous help Scaffardi Alberto has freely given to less skilled jewelry makers? You are free to take the time and effort to post some videos to show additional excellent ways of making jewelry. We await your valuable contributions.
