It suddenly occurred to me that Beyoncé has modeled some (a lot) of her talk breaks and crowd interaction after Diana Ross. Diana Ross had so much charm and showmanship. An A-rate performer. It’s no wonder she became so successful.

As we know the Ross voice has been the subject of debate for years. I dont think there has been a voice that transformed over the years like the voice of Diana Ross. Her voice here is scrumptious much stronger than her Baby Love voice. Now i loved her Supremes voice it was tailor made for the HDH productions. However her 70's voice was more sophisticated and fuller. The tone of her 70's voice was exquisite. Her voice changed in the 80's she became more pitchy and thinner.😊😊

This proves that a concert doesn't have to be over an hour long to be great. You don't even need dancers and pyrotechnics. Just a spotlight, a singer, a band and maybe a few good backing singers. Just think of all the money saved!

The one and only diva and boss. Great concert. Love it when Diana drops her voice lower to sing" she then sounds even better. A true star and nobody comes close to her. The good old days of Diana having the audience in the palm of her hand. A star and a bright one.

Just wonderful. The Supreme Diana Ross. A class act. On a side note, I think the single "Reach Out.." was #20 on the Pop Chart and #7 on the R&B Chart---not #2 as she mentions here.

Amazing quality of sound, visuals and of course the sublime Diana Ross at one of her finest peaks!! Was this a European tv show? Only downside were the unenthusiastic crowd shots and their odd clapping

Nothing has gone on in her lifethat is common to be man. To mankind, whatever you arereferring too. I love each of them. In their own right and gifts . Not even identical twin are the same. The sin of comparison or should i say the spirit of comparison is a sin. Why? Cause people will not let one in rest. Thank the Lord he allowed for their gifts to be shared and enjoyed. Now i know some would say, because it 's not called christain music would disagree, but I'm that to ok. It soothe sometimes better than some christian music. Their music is clean. Ilove them. I love Daina Ross always. For their amazing talents. Amazing talents of her musical groups as well. Just Beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!😅😅😊😊😊😅😅

Lovely concert, but Ross's comment on the chart rankings of "Reach Out..." piqued my interest. The song's best showing was #7 Hot Soul Singles (Billboard) and #10 Pop (Cashbox). Perhaps the #2 peak was in a smaller country other than US/Canada/UK?

Don’t knock Mary Wilson. She was a Supreme b4 Ms. Ross and not groomed to be a lead singer. Mary was back up and did it well. Later on in her career she did perform solo and wasn’t half bad. But give her respect, she was an original Supreme again b4 Ross.
