Thunderstone Quest is a deckbuilding game where 2-4 players compete to see who can score the most victory points when the game ends. Each player's deck represents a party of stalwart adventurers who will face and defeat the challenges of the Dungeon and will return to the Village to recover and re-equip. Now does this look like it may be an essential expansion stay tuned to find out. Thanks for this video! It was the only video I could find on RU-vid that took a deep look into the game and actually explained the rules and gameplay thoroughly, rather than rushing through it and ignoring major aspects of the game. Big thumbs up! Do you guys still play this?

We do still play it. It has been awhile since we got it back out. We did get the most recent expansions not long ago so hopefully it will get back to the table again soon.

It was really quite a surprise for us we weren't expecting to like it as much as we did and now that with the barricades expansion you can play COOP as well there is just so much replayability to the game.

@@DiceandDragons I am looking forward to seeing your playthroughs. The image quality is top notch, your voice is clear and the wording precise. I am a fan of Thunderstone 1st edition, but missed the fact that I could not play it solo (I cannot always round up fellow gamers and they want to play all sorts of games...). I just went all-in for the last Kickstarter, so I am trying to remain patient (one year to wait...) by looking at the different playthroughs. Keep on doing the good job !

Thanks for the compliments again. We have the new expansions that just arrived to maybe we will get a chance to film a full playthrough of one of the quests in the near future. We do have a little guy in the house now so they has taken playthroughs off the table for now besides solo ones.

@@DiceandDragons could you clarify how lvl up heroes work? So it's the lvl you want to upgrade +2xp? So if I want to lvl up from Lvl 1 to lvl 2 would cost me how many XP? 4XP? And the card I upgrade goes out of the game or goes back to the stack?

From level 1 to level 2 would be 3xp level 2 to level 3 would be 4xp. So its the level +1xp. Once you upgrade the hero it is destroyed and removed from the game. Hope that helps.
