Sounds a little bit like the scam my daughter about fell into. Person in West Virginia was willing to ship her deceased husband’s car to Utah. Daughter did a little digging before money changed hands and learned it was a scam.

Just a thought with how sleazy some are these days but if the car was already willed to a kid why was it for sale? And how many times has that car already been sold and handled exactly the way they did you? Hope that’s not what happened but it’s possible

the red flag here is he sold it to you but its in his will for his kids. and it just wouldnt be right. so what if he died the day after he delivered it to you. would it still be wrong for you to keep it since it was obviously already in the will?

I have a very hard time believing Rob never ever lost money on a car deal...I just think that's impossible for a car salesmen...but if true...I would wonder how many people got ripped off from buying a car from rob....not saying rob knowingly ripped anyone off. But some cars are brought n sold with out ever being seen..so God knows what happens to those deals....used cars are as is....n car salesmen are going to hide any problems....but sounds like Rob lost $1000 on that car.....great scam for sure

Trust me it's not always how it rolls. A will may get written and many things transpire prior to death. My daddy left and the will to my surprise left alot of things to us 2 kids and his only sister ...but the will was around 2004. My daddy left just a few years ago. I had 10 condos in Tulsa and some other thet items I didn't even know he had. I got nothing. Most of it was investments gone bad and were sold off a few years before he left etc.. I never expected anything and got nothing when he left. It's just life.

The car was already sold. Dad no longer owned the car so he couldn't leave it to anybody. If I'm giving somebody a thousand of anything, I'm getting that deal in writing. Mom could have given her son the money from the sale of the car.
