Been following you for sometime now only just got round to joining the planet of a dreams as a dream catcher saves my time on doing the prizes 1 by 1 great idea also love the videos looking at getting a 2018 Golf R DSG .
Great to see such an honest dealer putting right all the wrongs before selling it on even if it means you're taking a hit. Too many Arthur Daley's out there buying and selling that think all they need to do is wash a car before selling it on for a ridiculous profit. In depth , informative vlogs like yours deserve the following.....and you make us laugh , bonus 😁
Love how honest you are with these videos…. Price ect and the reality of buying stock and loosing money and how things can go wrong. Best content out there! 😊
Hey Calv, that RS4 at the start is mine! Just had it carbon cleaned at VRS a couple of weeks ago and what a difference it makes! Wondered if you fancying having it for the day to review the B7?
knowing the true history of a car is priceless, hpi checks don't tell you much tbh also, stuff buying a car at 90k miles, let alone an RS6, may as well burn money
Hopefully you make a few bob from these brilliant videos, which offsets the loss, and it is a much better car than it was. I really enjoyed both these videos 😀
Great video Calvin. It's good to see it from the traders side as a lot of folk really don't understand the trade and think everyone is trying to rip them off. A lot of folk are getting rid of cars for newer ones as they know they have underlying issues and trading it in is an easy way out of it.
Unlucky with the problems Calv, but great content, really enjoyed. ESPECIALLY... Lotus Cortina in the background 😍😍 haven't seen one for years, maybe if I beg, he might take me for a spin 🙏
Great video. I bought an S3 (2011) with 90k a year back and ive had a bit of a similar experience. Nice looking example, just happens to have needed some bits doing 🤷♂️ to be expected with slightly older slightly higher miles cars
Hey Calvin, just bought a Mercedes E Class Wagon that developed a problem on my way home. It has a full AA warranty, let’s see what happens. I really really like this car 😢 BIT 👍🏻
2nd hand car prices just now are just silly stupid, seen lots of high mileage cars ''over 100k'' but people are standing in a queue waving their money to buy them, it's steadily shifting towards the same as the housing market.
Most of the time u get decent value for 100k mile cars as u can get high spec cars with that mileage at a decent discount as opposed to buy a low mileage newer base model car at the same price.
Is this because money is especially tight for a lot of people currently. So rather than drop 30k on an electric car or similar cost new gas or diesel they save a bunch on used. Higher demand then equals higher prices.
We have had a Porsche Cayenne for 2 years 3.0 diesel and we have had it remap with 299 bhp and 631nm torque and it is a brilliant car with loads of pulling power and a great daily driver I highly recommend.
He may have known about the mount and thought it was the gearbox but only he will know. It does seem like the mentality is though that used car dealers are there to be ripped off by customers. Would the sq7 have been bought knowing the samenissues or would it be straight back asking for them to be fixed even though his trade in wasn't up to the same standard. Doesn't seem fair really.
Mrs Will on the phone 3 times "Will make sure you charge Calvinator the right price 💷💷!" Mind you good job he helped you out as it's a classic money pit
Problem is a lot of people sell Thier cars only when they get problems and hide it if they can when they sell it thinking they are smart giving someone else the headache they dont care if they are dishhonest
Unless I’m missing something wouldn’t a pre-purchase inspection would of picked this up? Unless this car was purposely bough with a fault for RU-vid content I would of thought Calvin would get a pre-purchase on all the cars he buys.
Nice to see how Will treats you as a customer and helps you out, my customer experience with Will directly was very different 🤨 a few years back. My car went in for an APR map change, I see on the dyno cctv them playing with my black Vue dash cam I asked what they was doing and they said not allowed to film in the workshop 😂 Will was also very rude and unorganised, never would go back after that.
@Ian Brender 🤣 this comment made me chuckle. Yeah, because being a paying customer and asking why your employee is trying pull my camera off of my screen is rude? Get your head out your arse 😉
08:05 the laugh with the mot... Calv has a "guy" that does his mot's 😆 I'm not saying calv sell dojy cars because he don't!! It was just funny that guys laugh who ever it was 😆
