“I don't think that people generally realize what the motion picture industry has done to the American Indian, as a matter of fact, all ethnic groups. All minorities. All non-whites. People just simply don't realize. They take it for granted that that's the way people are going to be presented and that these cliches are just going to be perpetuated.” - Marlon Brando.. watch “Michael Jackson tried to warn us! Brando is correct about who runs Hollywood. Specifically the founders of the major American film studios. This is taught in film classes and their values shaped the values of film and by extension, American society. It’s no hate towards the average person and more about how negatively this group of higher ups has affected society. And I agree with his point of needing to boycott immoral media. People don’t know how to boycott and don’t see the power their spending has.

There’s a video on them on RU-vid, I forget who uploaded it or the title but yes, they were Eastern European Jews, mostly Polish and they suffered a lot during war in their mother country and came here and did perpetuated the evil they fled. I learned the same thing when I was in film school and I was reminded of that after Kayne’s comments, because that’s what he was referring to. What we know about the “American Dream” came from the original studio heads. It’s a tragedy really.

I have a binge eating disorder and I wish there was more awareness. It’s more than just loving food, it’s the moment stress kicks in from not eating and so you eat in panic until your sometimes nauseous. It’s so hard because once you quit alcohol or other drugs you can find ways to avoid it, but you can’t avoid food! It’s hard, I know there was some humor in the video. But I really felt bad because I know how he feels and how hard it actually is to stop binge eating. I’ve been in therapy and I’m on meds and even then it’s hard, but I’m glad there’s more treatments for it now vs how others treated food addiction back then. 😢

I’m a young Je3, and for those times I don’t think Brando was wrong. He was speaking culturally, that other cultures could be portrayed in a bad/stereotypical way, but not the Je3s since there are some head honchos that are Je3ish. Yet Hollywood has always been kinda trash, no matter who is in charge. Even during those times (and Karine’s other wonderful videos will show) famous actors and actresses had to coverup their Je3ish identities. They were terrible to everybody and their own. As for why there wasn’t really a negative stereotype, I think in short, we’re boring lol there’s not this mysticism they could spin. I mean we had Streisand, with her “ugly”/beautiful face. But we didn’t have a monumental human rights fight like African Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, which old Hollywood made movies of. I agree with Brando that they let these terrible stereotypes continue, which absolutely bred more bigotry and racsm.

The Most Gorgeous guy Ever & the Greatest Actor in film/cinema history. ♥️♥️ He was absolutely right about who runs Hollywood & I can see what he means. Brando's acting coach & mentor was Stella Adler who was Jewish & introduced Brando to her family (she had Brando move in with her family while he was studying at the Actor's Studio) & Brando became an honorary Jew. honorary Jew

Marlon reminds me of my husband…his intense eyes balance beautifully with that sweet dimple.😍 John also has a weird obsession with food. He can pack down 3 sleeves of Oreos like ‘dat!😂

Did not even mention his greatest movies. Desiree, On the Waterfront, Guys and Dolls, Reflection in a Golden Eye, Teahouse on August Moon, The Young Lions, etc. Also the story about Richard Pryor is a stretch. If they met on the movie, The Wild One in 1953, Pryor was 13. I’m not sure where you get your info but I’d check it out.

I've been binge watching your channel and I love it. The most shocking thing to me was how he was a binge eater! I actually laughed at certain parts when you were telling about how he would eat certain foods like two chickens, for example. I had no clue about this at all until watching this video!

The only Marlon Brando movie i have seen is Guys and Dolls. He was good in that and very handsome. I had heard that he was involved with several women and men, but I didn't know he had that many kids. Love your videos, I learn a lot.

Love your channel but I think you need to slow down when narrating and no offense but a more of a radio voice would be better for your audience.
