This movie was definitely better than CS, but suffered from bloat and a lack of humor in large sections of it. Ending was amazing schlock which made up for most of the issues it has. Good sendoff

I heard a rumor that George Lucas wanted Short Round to be in the movie, but he got vetoed. Somehow, I wouldn't be surprised if it were true.

Yes. This movie was worse than CS. But at least CS had a better send off

I thought it was a good fun movie. Had a blast watching it in theaters. Just wasn't GREAT like the OG Indi movies. People acting like this movie is absolute garbage are just being dramatic...

I thought Dial of Destiny cemented the importance of all of Indy’s previous adventures. Although it wasn’t a perfect movie, I thought it hit the proper beats to be a passable/concluding Indiana Jones movie. I think James Mangold understood that. We’ve cemented the original adventures incredibly close to our hearts for decades. It was going to be impossible to top those.

This movie is fine. First act is actually amazing. The rest is enjoyable for the most part. Anyone who thinks CS is better is mental. CS is shot horribly, with that awful washed lens that makes everything look fake. Poor villain, terrible CGI, zero tension and Indie’s character is completely shallow. This film is way better just not as good as the originals.
