Yes, many game companies do that. They make the game character look like the voice actor behind them like GTA 5 characters looks like their voice actors.
@@notaskinwalker3589 I don’t believe you, I have an ex-family member, long story, who is named Connor, and very loosely resembles Ed Sheehan, but mostly just more fat and bald
if i remember right, he, along with the actor for hank, actually improvised a couple of their lines. apparently the winking part was added in because of him
I met Bryan and Amelia at a convention a few years ago and they were both the sweetest, most polite and kind celebrities I have ever met. They were a joy and seemed so happy and excited to be there and to meet everyone. They never once seemed bored or disinterested. Sort of like two puppies being fed ice cream lol.
Finally we found the more advanced Connor and he is even in our universe. How fortunate. He imitates humanoid verbal communication so extremely well. Cyberlife has made great advancements!
Holy sh*t. Usually voice actors _put on_ a voice for a character. But that's just... him. Every word he speaks I can just picture Connor's face saying it. EDIT: "Put on" meaning "doing a voice", like how Justin Roiland isn't Lemongrab 24/7.
It's more commonly done now to have the VA's face scanned and gave them do all the facial expressions. It saves a lot of animation hassle and it obviously makes the facial expressions more life like. In GTA V they even had the VAs do a lot of the animationa for running, climbing, and other actions on top of doing the voices for their characters.
Yeah there's alot of voice actors that have been used as a base for the character, another example of this is in Ghost of Tsushima, Jin Sakai (protagonist) has his face modeled after his voice actor Daisuke Tsuji
Also fun fact. If Hank bothered to look at the serial number on the original Connors jacket, when the second edition of Conner pretends to be the original, fake Connors serial number ends in 60 so hank could have told the difference that way.
Having grown up in Detroit and actually living there when the game came out, I wanted to play it so bad. Hearing the voice actor for Connor actually lives there and gave special meaning to even the serial number makes me so happy
Man literally could walk to me in the street, talk in a calm Connor voice "I need your car" and I would be like "okay? Sure connor go ahead?" And then feel confused afterwards
honestly, that's why Connor's story is a lot more engaging than Kara's or Markus's. Because Bryan had a lot more control and saying when it comes to him playing his character.
I feel like Kara and Markus became "human" too quickly. They start out as fairly human, even. On the other hand, Connor is a machine and he has the chance to become human throughout the game, but he can also stay a machine. He's the embodiment of the name of the game.
Fun fact: His spouse Amelia Rose Blaire also plays a role in the game as the deviant in the strip club. Forgot her name but you can tell from her looks and the blue hair.
Now, everybody from the 313 Put your motherfuckin' hands up and follow me! Everybody from the 313 Put your motherfuckin' hands up! Look, look Now, while he stands tough Notice that this man did not have his hands up

No, no you haven't. Stop spreading fake news Edit: Look at all the people I triggered with the most dumb comment. People are so sensitive these days. I figured I'd get some comment but daaaang son so many people lost their stuff.
@@3starperfectdeer233 i live in farmington michigan. which is close enough. its not like novi is a sparse place. novi is pretty packed with people. she probably does live there.
I think that is really neat. Thanks for that little tidbit! He has a soothing voice. I am a bit behind so I’m starting watching the old twitch streams.
I love how all the main characters (maybe other people) look like their androids. I searched up the VA’s for Kara, Marcus and Connor and was shell shocked that the models were based off them
They did a performance capture too. Probably not for difficult stunts, but they get the motion capture for actions and the face too. They're actors not just in the voice
You're on a robotics team? Didn't expect to see a robotics member in the comment section of a random video, mainly because there isn't a lot of people on the team I'm on
