Did anyone else get Stand by Me vibes at the "I found something buried in the woods" ?? 😅 ... i cant wait for this show. In December too, wrapped in a blanket watching an adventure star wars show. xD
I'm an 80's kid and a big fan of both Star Wars and the family friendly adventure genre of the time, and this show looks like it's gonna hit all the right spots. I cannot wait!
I love what Dave Filoni did with the Ahsoka show, what Deborah Chow did with Obi-Wan Kenobi, and especially Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni did with The Mandalorian. I liked the Mando, Luke Skywalker, and Ahsoka episodes of Boba Fett, so my excitement level for Jon Watts's Skeleton Crew is really high.
All I know is nick frost and Jude law is in it! I personally think this show might have a little razzle dazzle to it. Time will tell, but I’m genuinely excited for this.edit urkel is in it I’m even more excited. Throw in a Hondo cameo and it might be the best starwars since mando season 2.
Urkel is in it????? wow. Im really surprised we havent gotten a live action Hondo apperance yet, this would be a great show to do it, considering the pirate route theyre showing at d23. I really really hope we dont get burned again
Stranger Things and Goonies a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... Looks like something Spielberg would make for George, and since it's "aimed at kids" it's the kind of project George would really like. Looking forward to checking it out during the holidays! MTFBWY,A
It looks like 'E.T.' meets 'Poltergeist' meets 'The Dark Crystal' meets 'The Goonies' meets 'Stand By Me' meets 'The Sandlot' meets 'It' meets 'Stranger Things' meets 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' meets 'Captain EO' and 'Star Tours' (not even 'Star Wars') meets the visual masturbation of Luc Besson's 'Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets'. I don't know what to make of this when we've seen so many of the visual cues before.
I got goosebumps! The cinematography looks great! Seems new and refreshing and yes fun! We've only seen jedi children so I'm curious to see what adventure they go on. I know some people are tired of jedi but for me that makes star wars! I hope the execution is there. Very excited
@crystalkyber I'm sure it will be revealed but I'm curious if he was a survivor of order 66 or if he's just a talented force user. Either way this looks fun
1:11 I was half-expecting to see Pennywise from 'It' or a weird deadly flower-faced Demogorgon creature from 'Stranger Things' popping out of that hole. Hahaha! :)
