I'm with Jabby 100% when it comes to Skeleton Crew. I like how it grasps your inner child. So many of us were introduced to Star Wars as a kid. So, I want this to be good so badly.
I worked D23 booth setting up 1 particular booth related to Skeleton Crew it had 4 human size characters which will appear in the show 1 we've already seen in Mandalorian season 3 and no it's not Mando grogu boba or jedi
A lot of youtubers and achara forget that when they were introduced to star wars they were kids. Skeleton crew isn't for the nitpicking youtubers its for kids to introduce some of new fans to the lore. It's fun and whimsical take just like some of the books and cartoons were back in the day. Naysayers need to chill with it not fitting in their so-called world of seriousness
Even when there's a mature, serious depiction of the setting like in Andor fans still complain it's not flashy/mindless enough. There's no pleasing all Star Wars fans.
The first Moana was wonderful, the 2nd looks great too. And as for Skeleton Crew: it feels weird to see suburbs, but I totally dig the Amblin adventure Goonies style. I looks great and I hope it is.
Skeleton Crew looks very interesting! Which is awesome, finally something. :D Surprised you guys didnt react to the final trailer to Wukong yet, since you reacted to all of the trailers before.
And, you'd be right. It's also got an E.T., Stranger Things, Back To The Future, The Explorers, Hook, Tiny Toons Adventures (also headed by Spielberg), Captain EO, and Lucas' Caravan Of Courage, and The Ewoks: Battle For Endor TV movies, among others. It should be good.
My issue with a lot of the Star Wars stuff recently is it has lacked some of the magic, wonder, and mystery and Skeleton Crew looks like it could do that. We shall see though
when Achara said A new hope I LOLed so hard I don't know why but it obviously hit my funny bone. I'm still not sold on the show but I will give a shot. Moana 2 looks great I can't wait
Moana it’s back is like the one the first film in 2016 and now the new chapter have just begun I can wait to see it on thanksgiving from the holidays. 😊 🎄
I've loved nearly all of the new Star Wars stuff with Ahsoka being my favorite. I'm pretty pumped about Skeleton Crew even though I was so so on it because of the kids aspect. I'm in.
It would be great, if, after the Lucasfilm Ltd. logo, Spielberg's Amblin logo appears right afterwards, hitting the artistic intent home. It's too bad Spielberg didn't direct part of one of the episodes from this series. He did direct some of the battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin, in ROTS, supposedly.
@@Wintermute01001 Yes, I know. Along with her husband Frank Marshall. She’s a great producer, but she sadly isn’t the best producer for Lucasfilm. It’s located in Bungalow 477 on the Universal lot.
I really look forward to seeing Skeleton Crew, especially to find out how they chose that name for the series. It's almost to throw us off, to make us think of the Bad Batch. Heck even that name might be more fitting for Kids Lost in Space 🙂
Well according to the creator himself George Lucas once stated, "Star Wars is a story for 12 years olds" so what better way to tell this story through a kids POV
I really love the "Goonies"/"Stranger Things" approach to "Skeleton Crew". This could be really fun. Sadly, I already have the feeling, though there is a really good movie in there, they decided to make a rather mediocre streaming series and that is, what we get. I hope I am wrong. I can't trust this trailers anymore ...
Thank GOD, somehow they didn't mess this up considering Disney's snowhite trailer, because this story also contains feminine personality to unite the community alongwith the help of masculine energy.
ngl that skeleton crew looks entertaining. i think this would do better than the acolyte. don't see anything for the modern audiences it's basically just goonies in space.
Most intrigued by Agatha All Along and Skeleton Crew but still cautious. Moana I hope I’m wrong but it just looked and sounded like more of a cash grab or tv series. Mufasa could be ok I guess but I didn’t like the first CGI remake of Lion King mainly because they were going too realistic which resulted in characters with little to no personalities with voice over sometimes not even looking like it’s lining up with the movie. Snow White looked better than I expected but still not great but could be ok. Very nervous for live action Lilo & Stitch!! I adore that movie sooo much it’s so cozy and cute and this could completely ruin it for me. Daredevil Born Again looks and sounds incredible. The trailer was exciting but not much really happened as far as the story goes. And I didn’t see the trailer for Ironheart but the fact that it’s dealing with The Hood and more dark magical stuff I’m excited but could be bad. Hope it’s great though.
I love how gamer guys speak a lot!... about how tough they are in games but, when real gets real, they go cowered. And leave the woman, who has really dealt with REALITY! ... while they sat there on headsets playing games to fight for the Whole damn family. AND LIFE!!
apparently there is a character in the trailer named fuzzball who who is an original character from Captain EO. Michael Jackson was a force user confirmed?
It feels like the current crop of Star Wars fans are the older crop who’ve grown up and want darker grittier SW... who’ve conveniently forgotten or have “moved past” that young, innocent fun. And I get it, I enjoy darker, grittier stuff, but I feel like the cynicism has tainted our perspective.
