I was thinking of making comics or cartoon for maldalorians . if I make a resurch , writing a story won't be hard. but I could get copyright strike from Disney. but I was thinking to do mainly what was before Kotor 1
"Here's why you can't exterminate us, aruetii. We're not huddled in one place-we span the galaxy. We need no lords or leaders-so you can't destroy our command. We can live without technology-so we can fight with our bare hands. We have no species or bloodline-so we can rebuild our ranks with others who want to join us. We're more than just a people or an army, aruetii. We're a culture. We're an idea. And you can't kill ideas-but we *certainly* can kill you." - Ranah Teh Naast AKA Mandalore The Destroyer
This video introduced me to Manowar. Since then, they have been my favourite band, for about 7 years now, and I got to meet them in 2019. Thanks for starting me on my metal path This is the Way
ARC Alpha Studios I actually was surprised to see another content creator using a band like Manowar. I don't see many use the medieval fight for honor kinda bands sadly. I came across this tribute while looking for a hammerfall song for a darth revan tribute I'm working on lol. I hope to see more in the future :)
The Warleader I plan on doing another video for the Mandos of SWTOR using "warriors of the world" but it's a really, REALLY long song to get footage from an MMO. It'll happen eventually. Just not sure exactly when.
The Warleader well between the Sith Warrior, Trooper, Bounty hunter, Agent, and Smuggler classes, I doubt it'll be a problem. It's just going to take a long time lol
I say Disney should not have messed with the canon that is the culture of Mandalorians, just live and let live the champions of Mandalore!! The HUNT shall continue for us all Vode'An!!!
while i don't agree with Disney gutting the EU, I do understand it-with literally hundreds of source materiel and events contradicting each other, it was, chronilogically, a mess. they needed to do something to straighten it out, and this was their solution, sadly
Basically, they said only the Clone Wars series, Star Wars Rebels, and the movies are canon. Everything else may as well be fan fiction, though "they will borrow from the Extended Universe, but as a whole, the EU no longer contributes to Star Wars lore. This includes all novels, video games, schematic books, and comics. All of those have been rebranded under the Legends title, to avoid any further confusion with anything in the Star Wars movie verse."
ensayofr biggest thing is the true warrior culture that is Mandalorians, in the Clone Wars was represented solely by the Night Owls and Death Watch (in the Legends they are pure terrorist Dar'manda, soulless warriors) and the people of Mandalore in the Clone Wars are pacifists who deny their warrior heritage... yet it is CANON that Jango and Boba Fett are Mandalorians (much to the dismay of George Lucas)
*OFFICIAL* l2 english books where officially published meaning they had an ok from lucasarts making them 100% official no mater what retarded disney thinks they would litlerly need a time machine to make them un official
my most recent one was a remade version of my most popular music video, done to Imagine Dragons' Radioactive for Halo. check it out! It might be a while before I can make another, unless something smacks me in the face-I'm presently working on binging Batman the Animated Series and many of the animated Batman movies so collect scenes for a video for him and the Joker for two separate videos. not sure when they will be done but with luck Batman's will be done before Halloween passes!
We are hunters we are warriors we will have our revenge on the Jedi who have killed countless of our brothers and sisters the time has come for us to rise up once more for our home and for our people the Jedi must die who’s with me
Oh believe me, I know. I have been watching each episode like 3 times. I want to remake this old video using it but with the threat of COPPA looming over my head, there is a very real possibility I might just need to quit RU-vid altogether because I cannot afford to take the hits it would land on me if I get scoped out. BUT, if for some reason I survive into 2020, you can bet your butt I’ll be trying to revamp this video
I’m not concerned about the views, I’m concerned about the FTC coming after me with a $42,000 fine per video xD. Hence why I haven’t released a newer version of this-it would have happened already otherwise. But it also gives me time to scope out more scenes as the series goes forward so if I DO revamp it I have more footage :)
as long as RU-vid doesn't ban them! My first Star Wars video had to only get posted to Vimeo because I used scenes from the movies that RU-vid banned (yet I used more here and in my Darth Vader tribute and they are fine).
halomaster x17 you're telling me! My Avengers video to Smashing Pumpkins' The End is the Beginning is the End is one of my personal favorites I've made. It can be found on Vimeo (same account name, if you care to look it up) but I can't put it here. Annoying. Same thing happened with my SWTOR Smuggler Ep 2 parts 1 & 2-banned worldwide due to the Star Wars music. I have to re-record over an hour and a half of footage without music to re upload them
I miss the old days when their armor wasn't invulnerable. They actually had to rely on skill to win battles against their enemies and life and death hung in the balance
Beskar has always been lightsaber resistant. It’s more that their armor doesn’t protect everything (it doesn’t have the coverage of stormtrooper or clone trooper armor) so it’s easily avoided by skilled marksmen. But the armor itself, unless it’s been said to be made of something inferior, is nigh indestructible if it’s made of Beskar/mandalorian iron
For anyone interested in recording their bounty hunter in SWTOR or any class dressed as a Mandalorian (Jedi and Sith using a regular sword or vibroblade as well-no lightsabers) and want to help create a new SWTOR music video. If you use cutscenes, please turn off subtitles and light/dark alignment effects please. Give me the name of that toon and your server and you WILL be credited!
I been looking for someone to help in a music video/ tribute of some kind ofr a while. Im rocking a level 65 mandalorian aligned bountry hunter on jedi covenant.
AzureLuna hmmm. i play on Ebon Hawk. But if you record yourself (no subtitles in cutscenes or HUD or nameplates while fighting-hud you can deactivate with ALT+Z and nameplates can be turned off via the options) then i would gladly try to use them. I'm currently gathering footage for a trooper video first because the song is shorter and I have 7 troopers, including one I just started for the purpose of recording my playthrough and putting it up here, but the more unique armors for both the troopers and mandos, the better!
Jonathan Hodges Death Watch were more mandalorian than you think. Yes they were assholes but still honored much of the warrior ways of old. And they were way better than Satine
Kad Tracyn Kad Tracyn if you can tell me what time in the video he appears I can try and identify. I'm guessing you mean the one that is at 1:27. If so, it's a fan film my friend showed me. He's unnamed
It’s a Boba Fett fan film called “Wrath of the Mandalorian.” This video was made back when I was pretty new to making music videos and wasn’t nearly as proactive about crediting fan film stuff, which I regret. The same video is where I got the shot where Boba is ducking behind a tree and opening fire.
@@arcalphastudios The Redguardsmen electro pikes block blaster fire. here They are described though, not lightsaber resilient. The Redguardsmen themselves, are shown to be quick enough, like Jedi, to effortlessly block Bobas shots, even in rapid succession
+{P.D.G} Squidgeyoda I don't think they've made Shae Vizla or anyone from KotOR or SWTOR officially Disney Canon yet, though with the inclusion of several hints to the Scourge of Malachor in the Visual Dictionary regarding Kylo Ren's lightsaber crossguard design and the inclusion of HK-47 in Galaxy of Heroes (which as of right now is only drawing from Disney Canon sources) the possibility of them including at least some of KotOR and SWTOR is possible. I wouldn't be surprised if they said it was Shae that did it. As of right now, though, it's just listed as "passed down from generations of the Vizla Clan."
I'm presently building a copper and silver suit with a KotOR inspired helmet. Because Oregon weather is bipolar, I haven't gotten to actually paint it yet.
Devilking1994 I put the names of the song and artist in the bottom left hand corner at the beginning and in the credits at the end of every music video, but the name of this song is "Die with Honor" by Manowar
Star Wars: Bounty Hunter ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ck-PysTHBFA.html Boba Fett: Wrath of the Mandalorian ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MHDuMgeUmNw.html Boba Fett Chronicles ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-i06hJdrWTBo.html then others from Clone Wars, Episode 2, 5, and 6, and various games.
I might. It really depends. i have had a plan to use "Warriors of the World" instead, and get some more SWTOR footage with my custom Bounty Hunters, Troopers, and Agents dressed up in Mando armor, but ultimately it's a long and time consuming process for a song over 3 minutes long, so we will see.
^ Basically what he said. It's Shae Vizla helping Darth Malgus in the sacking of Coruscant. Just look up "SWTOR - Decieved" on youtube and you'll find it if you haven't already.
James Potter From Star Wars Clone Wars: Darth Maul with the Darksaber, Pre Vizla is the one getting executed, and Bo-Katan Kryze, leader of the Night Owls sect of Pre's Death Watch, is the woman with wide eyes.
Mandalore The Honorable I would recommend reading the comments that I've responded to regarding the Death Watch. Yes, you were right to correct me-that was bo katyn not Shae Vizla, but skim the comments and try to see why I decided to use the Death Watch in this music video.
+ARC Alpha Studios I completely understand why and it dosn't bother me I am merely pointing out the character. How ever Shae Vizla was seen in the assault on the jedi temple in TOR and Pre Vizla said the lightsaber he used was stolen by his ancestor sooooo..........
Regardless death watch was founded by Tor Vizla who was Pre Vizla's great great grandfather (I think) and the fight with the True Mandlorians was not about cowardice but lack of honor. This started a civil war between the death watch and the True Mandlorians which nearly destroyed Mandalore this is mentioned in the clone wars by Satine Krayze who was the compelled to reshape the Mandalorians into pacifists. The jedi where deceived into fighting with death watch which is one of many things that drove Count Dooku away from the jedi as he fought one the front lines in this conflict and took the fact that they were deceived personally.
Why so many Death Watch! They were the only semi-Mandalorians\Mandalorians show for any large amount of time. You see Delta Squad, they are Mando's, you see young Boba, but NO REAL MANDO'S!!!! Curse you Disney.
Short answer: Clone wars has the single most depicted Mandalorian armored characters (if I had made this video after rebels came out, Sabine would be here too). Long answer: Pre Vizla and his Death Watch may have committed terrorist acts, but their ultimate goal was to spur the pacifistic Mandalorians back into their warrior ways. Considering that most of Mandalore at the time of the Clone Wars was going against nearly all Mandalorian tradition, it could be argued that the Death Watch were the only TRUE Mandalorians depicted in the series. Truth be told, while their actions were very terrorist-like, Canderous Ordo described even worse atrocities committed by the Mandalorians during the Mando Wars; when looking at the Death Watch in comparison to the Expanded Universe, they are almost tame to the Mandalorians bombing Cathar civilians from orbit and forcefully enslaving children.
+ARC Alpha Studios Thanks for the Answer. I always have one problem though with the clone wars. They are not the only "true" Mando's. In all the Clone Commando books, it is made clear that there are pacifists, then the extremist Death Watch, and then the "true Mando's". Even in the new clone wars the protectors call Sabine a traitor because she mentions Pre Visla is he father. Any answers? I am serious curious. (I love Mando's)
+Ryan Cross the best answer I can give is that Pre Vizla had a corrupted view of how to restore Mandalorians to their warrior roots. I'm not saying that he was right or wrong in his methods; rather, he thought the best way to rally the masses was to piss them off enough to make them take up arms. Now that the Protectors have entered Disney Canon and are established on Concord Dawn, and with Sabine saying she is from House Vizla, my theory expands: it's obvious that Disney is referencing the war between the Protectors and Death Watch. Vizla was still a terrorist, but despite that, he still follows the Mandalorian code and his Death Watch are still doing everything that Ancient Mandos did according to Canderous Ordo. With that, the best explanation is that the Clone Wars Death Watch are labeled terrorists by those who oppose their actions and motives, but they view themselves as liberators and freedom fighters. It ultimately comes down to a matter of perspective, at this point.
+ARC Alpha Studios OK. Thanks! I hope I did not seem to aggressive. I just can not understand where the True Mando's that Jango hires to train the Clones\Clone Commando's fit into the picture. If you have not read Karen Travis' "Republic Commando" books, you should. They give a great story and tell a lot about Mando culture that is not fit into the Movies\TV shows. Thank you for your time!
+Ryan Cross I have read them all. The ones Jango hires are True Mandalorians, and the ones the Sep's use are likely Darth Maul's Death Watch. I would like to just say that I think Pre Vizla is judged for his actions without anyone looking at his motives. Though he is introduced into Clone Wars as an obvious villain from the main character's point of view, it is clear from the Mandalorian point of view that by the end of his life he is more anti-hero (which I think every Mandalorian portrayed in a positive light is, since they don't often regularly do heroic things), and I wouldn't even be opposed to call him Mandalore by the time he died (which would make Maul Mandalore by ancient traditions) since he did rally the Mandalorian people back to their warrior roots.
Yes she is. That’s Shae Vizla from SWTOR, who becomes Mandalore during the events of the story but is confirmed to be a Mandalorian from Legends prior to that
As I have explained in other comments, the Death Watch in the Clone Wars acted differently than others. While they may have been terrorists and portrayed as villains, Pre Vizla himself stated he wanted to return the pacifistic Mandos back to the roots of their culture, and was trying to rally them by getting them to fight his Death Watch. To that end, I believe that Pre was acting more towards the revival of the Mandalorian warrior culture. He and his Death Watch were just as brave as any normal Mandalorian warrior. Not as honorable, maybe, but they were in my eyes in no way cowards. Besides, based on the accounts of the Mandalorian Wars, it could be said that the KOTOR era Mandos did many of the same acts as the Death Watch did during the Clone Wars series, except worse since they were an entire army and navy subjugating world's. Plus, can you imagine how flipping hard it would be to make a music video about Mandalorians without using the Death Watch clone wars scenes?
Pre Vizla did what he felt he had to in order to reinvigorate the pacifist Mandalorians into becoming warriors again. I'm not saying his tactics were morally just. I AM saying that despite him being considered dar'manda, he still felt the warrior pride and duty, and in my opinion even arguably ended up succeeding in becoming the new Mandalore once Satine was out of the picture. Ultimately, the Death Watch of the Clone Wars fought to preserve the ancient Mando ways, which despite what they did was in the end for the good of the warrior culture. And as I've stated before, ancient Mandos from KotOR era and before did equally, if not more, detestable things than the Death Watch did.
+Ryan Karidias Well, if you have yourself a suitable enough armor set, the Mandalorian Mercs might take you in! They are a cosplay group similar to the 501st. They actually featured this video on their website for a short time, in fact! Sadly, both in Star Wars and in real life, to become a Mando requires some money invested in making the armor. I'm doing just that, but after $1300 I'm still not done! (granted I'm also going all out with mine, but still)
Fi Skirata not true-anyone who actively follows the 6 basic tenants of being Mandalorian, as well as those adopted into a clan, are considered Mandalorians. They actively believe in the idea that "the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water in the womb," so being born a Mandalorian doesn't mean you ARE a Mandalorian. that's why so many people are bitching about me using the Death Watch in my video: the Death Watch were born Mandos but many are considered "dar'manda", or not mandalorian, because they lack honor, and are viewed as outcasts.
Strength is life, for the strong have the right to rule. Honor is life, for with no honor one may as well be dead. Loyalty is life, for without one's clan one has no purpose. Death is life, one should die as they have lived.
needed Mandalorian clips, and truthfully, by the time of the Clone Wars, the Death Watch were attempting to return the Mandalorians from their peace-loving ways to the ways of warriors. Dishonorable tactics were used, but, especially towards the time where Bo-Katan and many of the Night Owls broke off from the Death watch and began fighting Darth Maul's Mandalorian forces, I think that the spirit of the Mandalorian had managed to redeem at least some of them.
In addition, I found Pre Vizla's actions against Darth Maul, choosing a one-on-one fight for honor and the ability to rule over the Mandalorians, proved that some sense of the old ways still guided him.
100,000 views on two videos in one year! MY GOD THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!! :D I hope you all will continue to enjoy the things I put out in the new year!
I do try to see every comment. Sadly, I am only one man, so I apologize on not seeing this one for an entire month. Still, I'm glad you feel so strongly about this video :)
