Diesel Engine Tuning Discussions and Misconceptions 

Not all tuners or shops are the same. It's soo easy to pay x amount of money to make power on a remap/tune but sometimes you cant put a price on customer service, attention to detail during tuning. Example, a good tuner will ask you, do you want a very safe remap no usok tune or your want flat out all tune mausok super power drag tune. Some shops, just copy paste the tune and off to next customer. Basta, bayad sila at may power increase okay na.

Kaya Hindi Ako naniniwala sa stock is good. Hindi talaga ginagawa Ng mga manufacturer Ang best nila pag dating sa fuel consumption. Dami ko natutunan sa channel nyo

The stock montero we have (also 2.5 VGT, 4D56 engine) does smoke when you floor it up a hill.

Good morning Sir, first of all I like your vlogs and they are very informative, my question is, can the transmission take all that added power specially the manual transmissions with stock clutch lining, pressure plate, release bearing? for those manual transmissions with dual mass flywheel will it be safe if the ecu is remapped with additional power? do you have any data on the transmissions' max torque ratings for the vehicles you remap?

Hello boss, huge fan here. 1KD FTV are known to crack pistons for some reason, remap or no remap they do. Is it safe to remap to around 190HP and 400NM at the engine?, it's currently at 360NM at engine

Pag all stock lang tapos naka remap possible ba magkaroon ng turbo lag? or backpressure ? kasi medyo lumakas na yung boost after remap

When you add boost earlier, it means the turbo will be working more. Which also means it will also fail earlier. With more hp, there will be more stress on transmission, gear, axle, tires etc. Am I right?

Very interesting information sir, one question tho, how to set higher boost on the low rpm? Since i thought the VGT on montero is mechanical, not like VNT that can adjust electronically, thnx in advance
