Parvatasana and Adho Mukha Swanasan they look the same, but they are different when it comes to alignment. They also called Mountain posture and Upward facing dog.
The major difference between Parvatasan and Adho Mukha Swanasan would be,
Parvatsan: 1. Feet together
2. Ears and arms are in a straight line together
3. Spine straight
Mukha Swanasan
1. Feet apart
2. Ears and arms are not in a straight line but the head is trying to reach the floor.
3. Spine arched and trying to stretch more.
Even though they look the same but Parvatasana is more stable and grounded, practicing which will give you more stability mentally and physically, Also this tries to stretch hamstrings and spine shoulders.
Adho Mukha Swanasan will stretch your spine and hip along with your arms and shoulders.
