Been using the mi notebook pro 11th gen for music production and light video editing for almost an year now. no issues faced, runs really smooth and there not been a time where it lags or getting stuck. really appreciate xiaomi for making such a value for money product . couldn't find any other company offering such a laptop for so less.
Did u update it to win 11? If so how's the battery and performance. Did u notice any performance issues or battery drain issues? Even I have the pro 11th gen 16gb variant. Didn't update to win 11 yet because wasn't sure how the battery and performance will be
Using MI Notebook Ultra since February 2022. Very amazing built and picture quality. Using as both working and entertainment purpose. All good things are told by Ranjeet Sir. But one thing to add to the list battery needs to be more powerful. as the processor is powerful and the display is higher in the side I got 5-6 hours of proper screen time. Maximum 6 hours of proper work not more than this. Although the charging is fast. Also yes the speaker is too low need a Bluetooth mandatory. But need improvement only in charging and Ranjeet sir please refer me to a screen guard for Ultra. I can't find it in the local shop.
@@bpvineethkrishna9553 nothing wrong with it, some models are even better than intel but problem is they are not mainstream yet, so common people and even some techy people would go for safe choice intel
Quality control issues are there in these... My brother's been using ultra i5-16gb variant for the last 1 year and recently Bluetooth stopped working. Also power adapter stopped working (Thankfully it's PD but that's still extra money for the new adapter)
Recommend Please! My Requirements: - Portability: Travels a lot. So, 14 inch or less. 1.5 kg or less. Prefers good built quality over anything. - I do graphics related tasks like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro (occasionally). So, need colour accuracy. - Most daily uses include Office/Study works, Pdfs, Media consumptions, prints, browsing etc. What I don't do: - Gaming - Heavy Video editing. - Video conference. Tight on budget. Under Rs. 65k. Love Xiaomi Book Pro i5 12th gen 120G but at 77k it's too costly for me. Is last year's Mi Notebook Pro i5 11th gen still a good choice at 55k to be used for the next 2-3 years? Pls suggest any other options.
hey RANJIT SIR,BIG FAN OF URS HONESTY AND A SUBSCRIBER SINCE 2018...A request is please do a video every month suggesting MOBILE PHONES IN EVERY PRICE RANGE.....since now we can't follow each and every launch products...its comparisons....else.....(AS I AM A MBBS PURSUING GUY...HARDLY GET TIME TO WATCH VIDEOS...)i know u would take this in consideration as WE CAN RELY BLINDLY ON YOUR SUGGESTIONS..ATLEAST ME....
Hello Sir, I have mi notebook pro since 2021. I decided to purchase it as the price to performance ratio was just amazing. But recently, it's suffering with keyboard problem like button getting pressed continuously. Xiaomi is not having the keyboard. One technician said me "iske parts nahi milte abhi" & "dusra brand hota like apple, dell, lenovo, hp vagera to abhi turant banake deta". After contacting Xiaomi service centre, they have said we'll order it and it will take approximately 7 working days. I'm just waiting now and all my work is pending 😢 Why did the Xiaomi laptop series get discontinued? They should have continued it. It was offering good specs at great price considering the build quality itself. What is your opinion sir?
@Ranjit - what are the specifications for the graphic cards? the Nvidia GeForce MX550 is I guess 4GB DDR6 & you've mentioned that the other model has Intel Iris Xe although their site shows Intel UHD. Can you please confirm between the two & more specifically the specification in terms of capacity. 2GB/4GB. Thanks in advance. Also, is it better to go for Dell Vostro with 12th gen i5 1240P or Xiaomi 120/G with 12th gen i5 H series processor? Comparing overalls, not just the P vs H series processors. you've already provided a good analysis on H > P > U in terms of processing.
Thank you so much sir, I'm going to college this year and will need laptop for coding which isn't a gaming laptop I've had an eye on these xiomi laptops for a while but I've been scared about the reliability of these laptops since xiaomi is a new name in this space. Needless to say after watching this video ik which one to get. (xiomi notebook pro 11th gen one) which is for 60k on Amazon rn I'm going to wait for Christmas sales so I'm very excited to have my personal laptops. Thank you for your review sir. Have a good day.
lenovo ya hp ka lene bhai, ma college me hu, jinke pas infinix, realme, ya mi ke the sab ke sab ke kuch na kuch kharab ho gaya h 1.5yrs me he, kisi ka hinge to kisi ka buttons.
@@oksowhat but that could be specific issues to those people and I've seen a xiomi notebook pro 11th gen in my college library the owner said no problems so far so I do believe that the xiomi series is better in terms of quality and stuff.
I also had purchased the mi notebook ultra 11th gen, I feel people should go with established brands like Dell, HP, etc. rather than a newcomer, xiaomi has still way more to learn in this space.
Hey Ranjit, here is a small ask from my side. Can you please make an advanced level review (for practical usage like surfing, media editing, speed, battery, screen) between iPad 10 gen vs ipad 5 Gen and iPad 4 Gen along with practical usage of keypads in your next video ?
I bought Mi Laptop Ultra 1 month ago, and it has i5 11300H I am getting 8hrs of backup with normal usage even though it is a 4 core performance oriented processor , whereas Dell Latitude 5430 with i7 1265U(efficient processor) gives just 4 hrs of backup . Feeling very sad using dell laptops as they overheat a lot compared to Mi laptop ultra. Dell needs to work on thermals as there is one fan with very less space for air flow.
I really wish this video could have done few months ago. I really regret purchasing Lenovo idepad for 55k😞, I had this xioami laptop in mind but didn't find any promising video on youtube to purchase this one.
Hello Ranjit between Mi Notebook Pro and Pro Max, which one is better? Both cost 53999 on Amazon. One has 11300H other has 11320H. Are there any other differences?
He was blacklisted by BBK electronics that owns 3 brands, that is Oppo and Vivo phones mainly and some units of Oneplus. Because he was way too honest to say The Oppo and Vivo phones have great Sound and cameras, but for the price the performance ain't that great. Like 3 or 4 years ago, since then he was blacklisted by BBK electronics!
Dell vostro 5625 Ryzen 7 5825u vs Asus Vivobook 16x Reyzen 7 5800H. Which one shall I buy? Education and work purpose. Kindly help with your suggestion. Thank you all in advance :) :)
Don't fall for the specs. Go for some other reliable brand which offers lesser specs but you can rely on quality. The so much hyped screen is of cheap quality. The screen flickering & screen bleeding issues started in just 3 months & Xiaomi has 3rd rate service centre filled with uneducated goons who's only motive is to check if product is out of warranty & charge bomb on repair. As my product was in warrenty, they simply kept brushing off the issue telling they couldn't replicate it whereas I could clearly show the photos & videos I recorded when the issue occurred. So long story short.. Go for reliable brand & don't buy this laptop.
This is very common in authorised service centres, try going to Xiaomi Exclusive Service centres, they are lesser in numbers, but they are the service centres operated by Xiaomi themselves, they don't do such cheap stuff. Had similar issues as you in authorised service centre, since third party companies repair on behalf of Xiaomi, they do such stuff. But issue was resolved and device was repaired in Mi Exclusive Service centre (which are lesser in numbers, but do exist in cities)
very happy with the mi notebook pro 16gb varient, doesnt lag, very powerful, display quality crystal clear, buyed in sale at 57k. keep in mind it have some cons display brightness feels low, so you will face problems outdoors with bright light, under normal lighting conditions display is awesome with 2.5K resolution, speakers are poor, not very loud can listen with speaker only if your surronding is very quite, I have no problem with it as I always use my bluetooth earphones. build quallity is awesome, but with intel H series processor it can get hot and be unconfortable if put under heavy load like casual gaming, or even opening multiple apps with heavy usage like VSCode and 20-25 chrome tabs and some other apps. battery life is decent like any other windows laptop can give you around 3 and half to 5 hours deping on your usage. performance is insane at this price. more could have helped only 2 USB A ports, charges very fast. no ethernet port. Overall very happy with the product and cant expect every thing good in laptop with this price range. have been using around 3-5 months.
Just one think arrived on my mind , Xiaomi laptop will be perfectly working for at least 10 Years? My HP Pavilion (4th Gen i5) just completed 9 Years and Still Running Smoothly after installing a SSD (2020)
UHD because Intel did not give Iris Xe graphics in 12450H Processors, they gave Iris Xe to 12500H processors. Since it is integrated graphics, the processor will have which graphics is decided by processor brand that is Intel and not on Xiaomi. But Xiaomi should have given 12500H to counter these cheap tactics of Intel which gives UHD graphics embedded in such an expensive processor🥲
Let's be honest, these laptops should be Ryzen. Especially with Ryzen 6000 you can even play games on it without a dGPU. I would consider them if they were Ryzen 6000.
i have redmi notebook 15 intel i3 11 gen its a good laptop but when i got my laptop its mousepad was malfunctioning and service centre recommended to replace then i replaced it new one is good which i am currently using theres no problem in it but it has one problem a line in displaying on top of screen from day 1 which i have ignored. so its good machine but poorly assembled .
Guys anyone using redmibook 15 i3. Is it good? How does it age? Are there quality control issues? How is the customer service? Please let me know i have to buy it for my kid!!!
A number of my friends who purchased the Mi Laptops and all of them have regretted it. And the after sales service was either non existent or absolutely horrible.
I think external numpads are available on the market. I'd opt for it. It maybe a pain to carry one more thing seperately, but atleast you can type in your numbers like you do in your calculators without needing to baby them, since they're easily replaceable.
I bought a Mi notebook 14 horizon in 2020. The built quality is bad. Hinges feel loose, track pad is horrible, i can't use it for more than 2 minutes. Fan is noisy, annoyingly audible in a conference. I'm a Doctor, i don't do any intense tasks. So I've never faced any trouble in daily usage, even when 10+ chrome tabs are opened. My laptops motherboard got friend in May 22 due to power fluctuations , luckily i bought extended warranty from Oneassist. So i got the repair done for 0 cost. But the service experience was very bad. They took more than a month to get the laptop fixed.
Hi Ranjit. Am a huge fan of urs but i think u musn't advertise Chinese products as much as possible especially when there are great alternatives like Dell, HP and may be Microsoft. I understand we cannot completely boycott Chinese products but we must try to refrain from using completely Chinese made products as much as we can.
Just checked the price, i think I’ll not pay this much amount for a xiaomi, it’s better to get a job next year and then by adding just 30k more will get the macbook, i think students like asus or hp more because they control the price I need one,I broke the hinge , but i can wait
