Martina. Can I just say I’ve watched you grow and be the best person you could be since I was 13. I’m 24 now and can say that through all of the incredibly rough and almost traumatic experiences I’ve gone through, I could always count on a video of yours keeping me grounded and motivated to stay alive. Lately I’ve been lost on who I am creatively, who I “would” be if I only had the time, this video seems to have reached a hand out to me when I need it most. Thank you for being a mentor and friend on the internet for so many of us.

Same exact sentiment here. I’ve been watching since I was 15 and am now 26 and Martina has been one of the only people that I could watch, listen to, and feel encouraged by. I don’t know this amazing woman and I don’t even know if she realizes how she has completely effected my life or others’ lives for the better, but she’s so loved❤️❤️ I truly hope she knows and FEELS it!!

I had an idea while listening to you talk. A cooking book with a qr code to the video of you making said recipe. It could have all of your doodles , quick notes, and even photos of your followers' dishes!. That way people who havent really seen your videos or forget which video was a certain recipe or just want to see you doing it before they actually do it , can have quick reference!

I really appreciate that reminder that the struggle to create something beautiful is real and contains suffering! Some artists say that a pet-peeve they have is when someone says, "You are so lucky and blessed to be so talented!" because it (usually accidentally) disregards the hours/days/years of struggles, fails, mistakes, and practice to gradually get better. I would also Love the Just Martina New era channel. No disrespect to Simon or anything. I feel as they are going separate way this channel should just be left for past content and slowly they could start posting on their new separate channels and forwarding people there , because financially it would be hard to just drop the place and than no one would see the new channels, I think a way of implementing this would be if they create new content to post "shorts" like on the bonus channel here and link the full video on the new channel _ use the community tabs to redirect people to the new channel. So She could eventually build back the follower number there and have fully independent channels in the futur. All this is they own choices , But I saw on Instagram Simon talking about a project he is working ok ( obviously we have no idea what it is ) I just think people interested into Martina or Simon and not both will penalize both of them in the long run if they are both posting totally different subject on the same channel. If Simon fully stop RU-vid as he sounded to be saying, then Martina could just fully take over the channel and Rename it. At the moment I find it hard to read " SIMON and martina" every time I see the channel and it's just Martina alone =/ . Anyway I hope that doesnt sound too bossy as YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY DO THIS. It's obviously not for anyone to decide what they do with their channel other then themselves. Clearly a lot of people care about Martina and we all would love to support her. (not that no one cares about Simon just that Martina is the one posting video right now so we all see comments supporting Martina)

I am so excited to see you pursuing a passion project and sharing the process of making that project with the community. I am an art teacher and I've been having to film EVERYTHING for class demonstrations (due to virtual teaching) and it's been the best thing. The kids get to learn different ways of doing things, they get to see me mess up and then learn how to move on or work with a mistake. It's helped humanize me more in their eyes, and shows them that we're all constantly growing together. I've also noticed a willingness for students to ask more questions and be more open and try new things because they see me trying along with them, I have to adhere to the same deadlines as they do, and they understand that it is okay to fail at a skill sometimes, because those failures teach us vastly more than our successes do. So thank you so so much to bringing this quality of teaching to us here on RU-vid through your Cookbook Creation Project. Your series will help people understand that they can pursue their own creativity and hopefully will help to teach people to stop comparing their own creative work to others and to just embrace the process and not the end product. I can't wait to see how your process goes and to cheer you on through it all! :D

I'm in Central European Time, but you don't really have to take me into consideration, the only time I wouldn't watch this is when I'm sleeping. Been watching this channel since 2010, and so far there hasn't been a single 'topic' change I didn't enjoy watching, so keep up the good ideas, like this one! Also, there is a lovely Writer and/or Book community here on RU-vid. I'm sure there are lots more of people you can meet, to also share this journey with, who've written books themselves. I've never seen anybody do it quite like you're doing, which is part of the reason I'll definitely join in, but there are lots of like minded people over there. With writing vlogs or read-a-longs.
