I am not 100% positive on this but I believe the group pictured in the video sitting on the couch are family, close friends, and band members. The pretty young lady sitting on the chair, I believe is his sister. If you view the "S.O.S." video, you will be able to spot his parents in the couch group because they both have proud mother and father written all over their faces and let's face it, they have every reason to be proud of their son. He is amazing!!! I love Dimash reaction video's!!!
I realy enjoy your reactions to Dimash, dear Emily !!! This song earned him the "Best Foreign Singer" prize at the Golden Melody Award in Hong Kong.- Sorry for my poor English. Greetings from Argentina.
You need to save your money if you want to see him live! he is doing a concert in New York in December !!! He was in LA in 2017, for the "spirit of the great steppe" . Great reaction as always, thank you.
It was "Opera 2" where the camera showed his father a couple of times, he was the one doing the fist pump at the end of the performance (proud father).
Dimash didn't know Mandarin when he sang this. He had only one week to learn this song phonetically. He mastered it and performed this in front of a predominantly native Mandarin speaking audiences. And this song/peeformance won him the Best Foreign Singer at Golden Melody Awards 2017 in Hong Kong.
It is more fun to watch Dimash with both his parents, they are famous singers. Dimash and parents - Dearest mother ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3kzGX5YLWqw.html
Lovely reaction! 😍 Thank you so much! When it's time for episode 7 ("Daybreak") and 8 ("Daididau") there are SUPERIMPORTANT BACKGROUNDSTORIES (true and really tragic..). Do the reactions via Gloria Wu's Chanel for beutiful lyrics in English and these important events leading up to the making of those songs. Love and Peace from Dear in Sweden 💖🤗
I`love your reaccion, you rigth" everytime I' saw Dimash singing telling us he's fasinary stories make me fly away He's amazing The Only One in the whole World thank you Dimash l' love you the Best 🤗😉😘😘😘😘
I said it to you about his dad, when he was flirting with audience in Opera nr2, he(dad) made a surprise to Dimash by showing after the performance....and Dimash said"If I knew that my dad is here I wouldn't be flirting that much with audience"))) He is the man who is shown in Opera nr2 many times, he standed on his feet all song , hiding from Dimash somewhere near, in the darker place)) And in the end he did a gesture with hand like " Yes!!! He did it!!"
loved your reaction. he's the shizz for sure.. yeah his dad is in the audience, you can see him crying in his SOS clip. Dimash live would be like the best experience ever
Hello. Your reactions are very nice. Please react to another performance of Dimash : " adagio ", "all by myself", "unforgettable day", "Diva dance", "my heart will go on", "Hello", " the crown", " mama", " the love of tired swans", " love is like a dream", and many others)) all songs performed by Dimash are incredible
Using the videos from Gloria Wu's channel for the backstories to the songs in her intros (use the "cc" button) are recommended for this episode, Ep.7 "Daididau", and especially Ep.8 "Daybreak", which not only goes into the tragic story behind the song, but also the situation Dimash found himself in when he lost his voice the day before having to sing. (They also have Eng.subs)
Surreal reaction, thank you for reacting to this, I looked forward to it and you complied, contextualize in your eyes all the sets that this song produces for me
Dimash does not speak any chinese during The Singer time except simple words like hello and thank you, however he was able to learn this song phonetically in just one week. When its time to watch Daybreak please use video from Gloria Wu's channel as there is strong background story of the song and eng sub🤗🤗
Here is a treat for you, Emmy. Gloria Wu has a whole slew of interesting videos about Dimash on her channel. For 'Autumn Strong,' she provides the backstory - what the song means to Chinese audiences. English subtitles are provided on most of her videos, including this one. When you know the backstory, the lyrics make a *lot* more sense. And you'll understand why some people cry when Dimash performs the song. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FXQ58U-Eddg.html The 2017 Singer episodes don't show what Dimash can do when he's free of a show's rules. Over the course of the last two years, he has done things that *no* human should be able to do. The Singer songs are excellent, of course, but there's arguably better stuff ahead in songs like 'Sinful Passion,' 'Love Is Like a Dream,' 'Olimpico' (pure opera mode in that one), and perhaps strangest of all, Igor Krutoy and Dimash produced 'Passione' just days ago. Even seeing the eleven 2017 Singer songs from Dimash didn't prepare me for what came after. I'm still in shock. He does things with his voice that are literally unimaginable until he does them. But I won't spoil surprises for you! :-)
Dear Emily, I saw you had the subtitles so I think you used the video from Gloria Wu channel but I don't know if you saw the back story or read the words. PLEASE check out the story for this & Daybreak. Also when you get to Daybreak please use the video with story & performance with subtitles. Being an emotional woman, after I watched story & words, every time I hear either song I can't stop crying so have tissues ready if you do use from her channel. Do not let people convince you to use the version from Bastau as it doesn't include the story which is very important
The version on Gloria Wu's channel is optimal because it offers the background story for this song, which is undeniably a big plus for you to appreciate the song and for us to see your reaction to it. On the other hand, the Bastau's version is imo the one whith the most beautiful musicality and vocal prowess of the two. So if you don't care about getting emotional in a reaction or you are not the emotional type I'd recommend the video on Gloria's channel. Whatever you decide, you should definitely check the other one too for yourself (or maybe both of them?). Thank you for the reaction.
Emmy....I may be wrong..but I watched Opera 2 and I think? I saw Dimash's "father" 3 times...I wrote down the numbers of where...1:44......3:22.....4:14...ok
I enjoy your reactions but, correct me if I’m wrong, you haven’t yet commented on the languages or the lyrics. He ought to be most comfortable in Russian (as seems to be the case) and Kazakh and there does seem to be at least one video of him performing a Kazakh song but so far I’ve only seen him speaking Kazakh in an interview. с наилучшими пожеланиями.
