On the other hand, there are singers who are insecure about themselves that they can't appreciate singers like Dimash. They are quick to judge negatively as they can't do what Dimash does so they assume it's fake. Great, knowledgable singers appreciate each other. And you my friend, is one of them. This song was written for Dimash by Igor Kruytoy. Also, Your Love, Olympico, Know. Dimash wrote "Unforgettable Day" when he was 19 yrs. old. Check that one on the contest he was in called "The Singer" in China. He was invited to participate and was the first "foreigner" and the youngest ever to attend. As a matter of fact, you can watch all episodes with Eng. subtitles on RU-vid. They called him a dark horse and had no idea how great he would be.

Hi! Congrats on the views on your SOS cover! I'm trying to think of songs that were written for or by Dimash for you to maybe cover, and the songs below can all be found on his iTunes page (music.apple.com/ca/artist/dimash/1230538404#see-all/top-songs ). Screaming, Lay Down, Give Me Your Love, and Couldn't Leave are the ones in English, but like someone else said, most his songs aren't in English, so in case you're interested: Unforgettable Day and Akkyum (My White Swan), and Please Give Me Love are his Kazakh songs that he performs more (from what I know at least), but everything from his Bastau Live album except Jamaica, Astana Waltz and Daididau should be by/for him. Daididau is still one of Dimash's "signature" songs, though it's a traditional folk song so idk how copyright would work for that one. Everything from his album iD except If I Never Breathe Again and Sagyndym Seni is by/for him, and besides the English songs I mentioned earlier they're all in Mandarin. Then there are some other Mandarin Singles written for him but not in any album: 拿不走的記憶, Restart My Love and Never Land. Idk if Know counts b/c I think the version with lyrics was written for Dimash, but before Dimash, it was a wordless song called Vocalise. That's all I can think of atm, hope it's helpful :D

What to put on your cover? Since you're an Aussie, I'd put "Waltzing Matilda," but I would do it specially. I would sing it basically a capella, thus focusing entirely on story telling (because it is Banjo Paterson's poem, after all), and using, like Dimash, various vocal tricks to enliven the story. I would then lay it out against the sounds of Australian bush, with sulphur-crested cockatoos prominent, and perhaps a distant didgeridoo.

Don't you just love how he fades into nothingness on "sna" at 3:18 and that breathy "ona" at 3:26? ♥️♥️♥️♥️ Love is like a dream is probably my favourite performance of Dimash. Song written by him Unforgettable Day- he wrote it when he was 19 - I still prefer the version on The Singer over the D8 Gakku Performance. Visually much more appealing to me. The orange lighting. And he sang it very well. Song written for him (Igor Krutoy): Ogni Pietra, the one he sang at the Opening Ceremony of the European Olympics. There is another recent version where you can see more of him. Suggestion: Love of the Tired Swans. Hello, fyi, Mr. Igor Krutoy wrote this song originally 25 yrs ago for Ms Alla Pughacheva ( before Dimash was born) . And later many singers including Lara Fabian performed it. Mr . Krutoy rearranged The song for Dimash on occasion of 70th birthday Concert for Ms. Pughacheva " A gift for Alla" in Moscow this year. I watched some of them., all are good but Dimash presentation is different and touch your heart more . Thank you.

Caleb, another great reaction. That last note was 18 seconds. His record is 23. So far he has written or composed 8 songs. 1 is a change of pace on his channel titled Give Me Your Love which is another tribute to MJ. Billionaire Igor came out of retirement to work with Dimash & produce songs for him. The first new one that Igor came up with just for Dimash as he is the only person that can sing it alone is Ogni Pietra but only watch the fancam or the official stage version from his Arnau concert. If you watch the version on his channel with a blue coat you won't be happy.
