Dimash is the ONLY singer on the planet that gives me tears, shivers, goosebumps, heart and breath stopping everytime I listen to him, he must be an angel as NO singer ever did that to me, he deserves a Grammy, Oscar and....more to come!
I dare say that no other singers can do it so beautifully and thrillingly like Dimash in spite of his little knowledge of English. So impeccable.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ It's very kind of you to response positively and honestly to Dimash's performance.🎉
Как хорошо слушать Димаша с профессионалом! Человек профи и умеет рассказать, что он слышит, высказать свой восторг и сделать полный анализ. Один из лучших реакционеров. (В 5 -ке!).
It was a look into relaxed Dimash and to see him having a fun (even if it left him so depressed afterwards because he was ranked so low). I personally loved his styling xD
HelTra91 Yeah, I saw that video too!! If you didn’t like it you wouldn’t sing it... I just think that it wasn’t the best choice of song for a competition as it doesn’t show his vocal capabilities to their fullest extent. But you do get to see a fun, relaxed and true performer! DKIFC/Australia
I just wanted you to know that Dimash has been in Music schools since he was 5 years old. Speaks 12 languages and plays 7 instruments. All of this info is online. He said Chinese was the most difficult to learn. The song Adagio was written in the 18th century and was not meant to be a song but a poem. But it is so beautiful. Lara Fabian also sings it.
I'd like to say the same thing back to him. "Dimash, Adagio..............!" 😍😂😍 Caleb, I gotta say, you've become one of my favorite Dimash reactors! 😍
@@CalebColesMusic Your S.O.S. video was shared a lot that day. 😂 We'd love to have you join us in DKIFC because we know you're a Dear. 😍 facebook.com/groups/DimashKudaibergenInternationalFanClub/
Hmm. I beg to disagree. This gentleman, to me, is conceited. We listeners and dears of Dimash do not anxiously wait for his head voice, or breast voice, or falsetto. To me anyway, what matters is the beauty of his performance. What else there is (high notes, low notes, falsetto, vibrato, etc. etc.) is just something additional (but secondary).
@@seppokanerva7399 I don't see any contradictions here, sorry. For example a geographer knows the reasons for natural phenomena. But his knowledge doesn't prevent him to admire with beautiful sunsets or whatever. A singer or, say, a painter can see the detail of a performance or a picture. Yet, it doesn't mean they cannon feel the beaty. Or a doctor can feel delight seeing a beautiful woman despite he knows anatomy. Why do you refuse professionals to have emotions and feelings about anything beautiful? In this case we have to admit amateurs are also conceited because they think it's THEM who can really feel. No one else but them. By the way I'm an amateur. But I believe profs are not worse then I. :-)
Thank you very much for your reaction! All of them, actually. Just mind the fact, that you react for his performances which took places almost at the beginning of his international career. Except Ogni Pietra for sure ☺️. If you check videos from 2018 and 2019 you’ll definitely see what an enormous growth he had gone trough. Especially if you look through his concerts Bastau, DQ and the latest Arnau, which took place just yesterday in the capital of Kazakhstan Nur-Sultan city. Over 10000 people came from over 60 countries and 30000 from Kazakhstan to witness his triumphal performance. For sure his very young yet. He is only 25 years old, but already he is so mature as an artist. I guess I’m too much 🤪. But still... trying to be as objective as possible. Thank you once again!
Caleb Coles Music , sorry for bothering you)), but since you just started getting acquainted with Dimash, could I recommend you to check Gloria Wo’s channel? She did a great job making stories behind the each song Dimash sang on I’m Singer contest. And especially the Daybreak (it is episode 8), and then check out his performance of this particular song on his Bastau concert. Both of them are great taking into consideration the circumstances. But the difference is great! Would be very interesting to hear your opinion about both of them. 😊
I think he plays, erm... 9ish instruments. Dombra, bayan, piano, bass, drums, guitar, keyboard, cello, marimba. I could be missing some. You’ll see him play the Dombra soon enough ;)
You are officially Dimashified😂 I watched his Arnau Concert on Instgram Live yesterday! Phenomenal! Such a pitty that a do not the Kazakh language, as he spoke several times during the performance. About his parents and what they mean to him and also about his friend Denis Ten. He always sings Sos in Memory of him, he was killed last summer. Very emotional.
Hi. For me DIMASHS best performance ever so far is:- LOVE IS LIKE A DREAM!!! This young man has soooooo much TALENT it's INCREDIBLE. WOW! WOW! WOW! BRAVO DIMASH!
There's a lot to unpack in this performance. Some things about it, I liked very much. Others... not so much. Starting with low energy and building to a climax? Perfect. That's when Dimash is at his best. He gave us some nice short runs. Everything was locked into place. I love the way he can sustain a note, sometimes even without vibrato helping him. He just locks it in, pitch and volume and tone, and keeps it steady for however long he wants. That's just amazing. And you're right, his ability to sing through vocal breaks is a sign of incredible technical mastery. I didn't care for the melodramatic fist-pounding on the floor. Dimash is at his best when he lets his facial expressions, gestures and voice convey emotion. Slapping his forehead, fist-pounding, knee-dropping... I see that as distracting from what he is doing with his voice. It's a sign of his artistic immaturity. In his more recent Sochi performances, and especially in 'Love Is Like a Dream,' which he released in April, Dimash is showing us more maturity. He's dropping the melodrama, the overacting. He doesn't need them; he can establish a connection with the audience and convey emotions wonderfully without them. Dropping melodrama strengthens his performances. Dimash's 'Adagio' is still a brilliant performance, even with its flaws. We are seeing a master of vocal techniques - a wonderful technician - improving his mastery of the audience and the stage, right before our eyes. He's not quite there yet, but you can see he's figuring out what works best and what doesn't. Dimash was something like a year removed from his music school graduation when he performed at "I am Singer" (or whatever the right translation from the Chinese is). He had been performing on stage throughout his boyhood, of course. But he's still a little raw; it's still new for him to appear with so much stagecraft behind him, with such glorious musicians and vocalists backing him up, with so much media spotlight focused on him, with such high production values, with so much pressure to beat other very good vocalists. He acquitted himself very well indeed; his performances have mostly gone viral, and for good reason. But this snapshot in time is not the end for the phenomenon that is Dimash. It's just the beginning.
Good points! His performance is very intense - I can see what you mean about maturing into a more natural connection with his audience. It is also hard to know how much influence the producers of the TV show had in shaping Dimash's performance. I know in some TV shows they put a lot of pressure on people to do certain things :) I look forward to seeing more of his development.
@@CalebColesMusic In his previous episode (Uptown Funk, which you thankfully didn't review), Dimash was in the bottom 3 of audience voting and in danger of elimination. He knew he had to knock the audience off their feet with this performance of Adagio to stay in the competition. I think a lot of the melodrama was purely for maximum audience impact...he had surmised very well what would impress them. And he won the night with this performance.
Caleb, great!!! Thanks for another amazing, stunning and detailed and analyzed reaction to ADAGIO!! This reaction is now included into my golden Dimash's reaction collections. Dimash had his biggest concert in nursultan yesterday having 40 thousand stadium with 10 thousand coming fans from all over the world!!! Keep going please with next reactions!!! Peace bro
@@CalebColesMusic I enjoy it. I like, when professionalist make reactions of Dimash, because they have an idea about music, technic, voice emission, etc. It's a such a diffrence when you're listening reactions like yours, than reactions kind of "OMG this is amazing, I'm gonna cry!!!! Jesus...amazing, woooow!"...
@@CalebColesMusic It's so irritaiting when you see people "reacting for thumbs up"..I'm glad that you are natural and you can share your knowledge. Congrats from Poland. We don't have youtubers who reacts Dimash...
Oh and he sings in countless languages. And plays countless instruments. As your watching The Singer you'll notice that he's sung in various languages. Just amazing!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Greetings! Thanks for reacting. Not sure what others mean by "Uptown Funk" not being Dimash's "best" performance. No human being is perfect. He was just having some fun with a pop-rock song. Granted it was still the competition, but that was his style for that song. Hey! Most of the people there were really into it and a lot were dancing. Btw, "Adagio" is a completely different song, all around. Yes, Dimash has made mistakes at times, but, you all know how hard he works. Thanks Caleb Coles.
For episode 7 & 8, please use videos from Gloria Wu’s channel again as it explains a lot of details of the songs and the background story before the performance! Thanks 🙏
I love all three versions of this song the original one is in Italian Lyrics written by Lara Fabian, Rick Allison, David Charles Pickell, Original music was written by Remo Giazotto, Tomaso Albinoni. Also in Italian and in English, it was sung by Lara Fabian. Hence the line "be the only man to say" it was written for a woman. But I absolutely love Dimash's version just the emotions and omg this voice. Also, I didn't get a chance to say I loved your version of SOS as well. I can't wait to see your reaction for the Gakku version of Unforgettable day.
Ive never seen anyone react to so many Dimash songs, and even sing their own version of SOS, without hearing or reaction to Sinful Passion. Thats almost always the second song people hear, or react to, after SOS. And yes, "Hello" by Lionel Richie, is equally amazing. Keeping in mind that these "Singer" competition songs, are all from 2017. He sang Hello on Singer, but he came back in 2018 as a guest singer. Love is like a dream, is only a few months old, and you can really tell just how far hes come in 2 years time. He even looks older in Love is like a dream.
It is taking a lot of patience! I am trying to do that in order but not sure how long I can last given how awesome everyone is saying those songs are :)
Caleb Coles Music well, figure Sinful Passion is another SOS song, that you’re going to want to make your own version to. It’s originally written by A-Studio, who is the band that plays the instruments while Dimash Sings their song. Make sure you review the song that’s on his official Facebook channel. It has English subtitles. But the song will blow your mind. You’re going to want to record your initial reaction, so, you’re surprised.
Dear Caleb, it's sooooo enjoyable to watch your reactions! You're such a lovely person and you adore music/singing and it shines through. Can't wait for you to react to ALL Dimash videos available. I mean, I know it's a lot to ask...but as you said, Dimash is opening a new facet of his talent in each of them, so it's worth watching... Btw, at his yesterday's Arnau concert he performed Olimpico and did it phenomenally. Much better than in Minsk imho, and we could watch him all through the cantata instead of those older ladies and gents carrying the flag for six minutes, hehe. Check it out!
Caleb, once again great reaction. The best part is the other contestants watched him walk to the stage and pause and then walk over to sit at the piano and they were shocked because that was the first time they found out he could play. He kept surprising audience and contestants. He can actually play at least 7 instruments and during the other songs he does play some on 2 more. This is episode 6 and I wanted to remind you to use Gloria Wu for episode 8 and I want to tell you that episode 10 that he wrote at 19 has a better version titled Unforgettable Day Gakku. Almost at the end at that event he reaches a note that is higher than anybody else and so far it is the only time he has reached it.
What i see is a DEAR reactor !👌👍👌 Durin' this competition u really can see how much talented Dimash is...in every performance ...he's giving his ALL ... Gracias ! #GreatDimash #Always
El mejor del mundo,lo escucho una y otra vez ,y causa las mismas emociones en mi,directo al alma,el es un ángel en la tierra, saludos desde Costa Rica 🇨🇷
I love your reactions 😍 , l see every one of your video three or four times every one . Please continue to make a videos reaction of Dimash songs.🙏 😍👏👌
Enjoying all your reaction videos of Dimash. One of the more recent performances by Dimash though is really worth checking out -- "Love is Like a Dream." His voice has matured and somewhat changed I feel over the last few years (from when he performed on The Singer) and I would really like to hear your take on that!
It's amazing to see you enjoy his singing, seeing not only vocal perfection, but also emotions that he gives us through songs. What is extraordinary is that every Dimash song shows his different side. He keeps surprising us.
Dimash sang with so much passion, strong powerful performance again. He won the 1st place in this 6th episode in The Singer 2017. This is Lara Fabian's song and she congratulated him of his version to the song. You see, Dimash had rearranged the song and made it his own. So much talent. Caleb, I love the way you approach Dimash take on this song about his vocal techniques and your praise to his talent. Thank you.
Dimash is able to deliver all the emotions of the lyrics and to inject them into the audience, as no one else. He sings with whole his body. His voice is like a bullet with a shifted center. Goes from the ears, passes the brain, pierce the heart and stuck in to the soul. I like your reactions. Thank you.
DIMASH É O VERDADEIRO SUPER-HOMEM...A IMPRESSÃO QUE SE TEM É QUE POSSUÍ UM SINTETIZADOR POLIFÔNICO NA GARGANTA...ELE NOS LEVA DA TERRA AO CÉU NUMA CAUDAL DE PAIXÃO !!!... 🤩🤩🤩 Brasil
I love your comments, you find som new perspectives... I found Dimash last spring, watched all the Singer performances throughout the summer, now its kind of an anniversary following your journey! And they are still amazing to me, never get tired of them... or him.Keep up the god job, thank you! (You have so many good suggestion of what to do next, so I just agree with them)
Thanks a lot, Caleb! What I really love about your reactions, is that you even talking about his techniques, still see Dimash as a person and a great artist, who has the power to awake people's emotions, to touch their souls. This is THE most important thing in my humble opinion. I mean, even a D8 would not make any sense, if it did not touch the heart. Dimash himself pointed out in an interview, that he wants to be accepted as a singer and not as circus artist. So thanks again for seeing the Magic and not just the technical side of Dimash's performances.
ADAGIO, it's Italian word in corrent lenguage, we means going slow and that word it's always used in classical music to means a slow time, anyway this amazing song been wrote by Lara Fabian in English and Italian on Albinoni music called L' adagio, I suggest you to watch Lara Fabian singing this song, she is amazing and Dimash Love her and her songs like Madeimoselle Hyde, Love is like a dream, Love is tired swan all songs composed by Igor Krutoy for Lara Fabian and now Dimash singing everywhere, great reaction as always.
I’m really enjoying your reactions so far! I’ve only recently discovered Dimash as well and I love that you are able to explain in terms that people like me with no voice training can also understand what exactly Dimash is doing and why it is so impressive.
Always enjoy your reactions. You are so knowledgeable. Look forward to your video about SOS behind the scenes. Dimash took first place for this round with his rendition of Adagio. Agree with other commenters. Would you please use Gloria Wu RU-vid for episode 7 and 8. You will fully understand the story's then. We dears will watch with you. Gloria is a wonderful dear and never Minds people using her Channel 4 reactions. When you get to phantacity on her Channel you will see dimash doing acting. It's quite fun and we dears like to watch it
Caleb Dear, that giant grin on your face told the whole story!!! 😁😁😁 Dimash plays many instruments, including piano drums and the Dombra (traditional Kazakh lute which is featured in the next Singer episode when he sings the Kazakh folk song Daididau). I loved your analysis from a singer’s perspective and it really helped me understand how Dimash transitions from the lower to higher registers. Thanks again for your Dimash reactions, can’t wait to watch the next one! 👍🏼😊👍🏼
Nice reaction, Caleb. Enjoying your videos and glad you're having a great time along the Dimash journey. Plenty more treats in store for you! Have a wonderful day!
Nice reaction Caleb. I agree about the emotional aspects of this song. That's why it's one of my favorites. Not sure if you are aware but Lara Fabian is one of Dimash' musical influences. He has done alot of covers of her songs. I'm not sure if you do reactions to music videos but if you do Lara Fabians Adagio official video is outstanding and the video is one of the best I've ever seen. Keep up the great work!
Caleb, well done. I know all these songs by heart, and you are one of the very few that pics up on the little small nuances that I now know, having listened to these songs a zillion times. Thats a sign of a true artist, but more importantly, someone that really listens... And you are a gentleman too, thats obvious. A pleasure to listen to. Perhaps you will get to the other Asian ladies to that dominate this Asian world.. So Hyang from Korea and Morisette Amon from the Phillipines, as a starter. Inbetween the Dimash marathon 555
