Checkpoint: strange how a large portion of my childhood was defined by the creators of Among Us. The Henry Stickmin games are what appear in my head first when I think of the era of flash games. Much of my formative years were spent in front of a windows vista laptop, playing hundreds of flash games. Even though Among Us is literally inescapable, it serves to me as a reminder of days past. For a lot of kids, Among Us will someday be nostalgic for them, just like how the Stickmin games are to me. But please stop posting about Among Us
@@mikeyaftony2464 I mean yeah I've made some for student projects so I know the rough process? But what I mean is they refused to hire more developers for their incredibly small team and focused on adding weird stuff like "quickchat" instead of just adding simple stuff to break up the gameplay loop. Plus every update had major gamebreaking bugs in it. You can see the lack of support reflected in the games playerbase. Even the release of the airship only raised player count for like a week, and the new "more colors" update literally didn't even boost players for an hour.

The ability and drive of creators on the internet to turn clips of people speaking into music is astonishing. It´s such a staple of internet culture, I feel like creating videos / music like this has been a thing basically since the internet was in its infancy. Anyway, this is so high quality man. Love it
It honestly broke my heart when i saw what happened to the original checkpoint video fucking Nintendo that was so special to so many of us seriously fuck Nintendo I’m just about done with there shit they take down videos for no reason like videos that literally help people get things off there chest, and maybe even make them not kill themselves knowing people online support them, and of course how they treated competitive Smash Brothers.
I have never played a dk game, so I had no idea what song this was, BUT I did play smash bro's brawl, and during the story mode this was what usually played during the jungle levels, needless to say, hearing this unlocked some great memories
