We love Jiko. Very hard to get a reservation there, but we arrived as walkups and only waited 20 minutes. The meal and service was 10/10

I agree, it sits as one of our top recommendations for sure! It has been a minute since we got to go and we are craving it! The service, the ambiance and the food are all TOP NOTCH!

Jiko was a must do for us on every trip. We have been there many times through the years. Our last visit however was not good (April 22) I have to blame most of it on the waiter. He was terrible and that can ruin an evening, which it did for us. Flying Fish on the other hand was the best meal we had last trip to Disney. If you get a chance, check it out.

Oh man, that is a terrible bummer, you are so right!!!! The server can make or break an experience for sure! YES, Flying Fish is amazing we did a review and have it in my editing dock... I hope to have it up in the coming week or so. The food and service were wonderful, but i have to give ambience to Jiko between the two. Where else do you guys love to dine when in WDW?

@@EnchantedNomads I am 100% sure we will still go back to Jiko. We have been to almost every signature restaurant through the years and a very good amount of other places. Homecomin' Boathouse, Shula's and Narcoossees are always good and at the top of our list. Cali Grill is still good but I think it used to be better before the prefixed menus. If you liked the sushi now from CG, you would have loved what they did when they had Yoshi there. It was unreal. Narcoossees just reopened with a new menu. We are excited to try that out on our next visit. We have more, but my response is getting a little long :) My wife, son and I are big foodies, I could talk about it for days.

@@Vanze- lol. I know the feeling! Yes, we are excited to get over to Narcoossees. We had a reservation for the 3rd but a sick pet forced us to cancel. Hoping to get a reservation soon!!
