Purple Reign is the best show ever. I've seen it about 5 times and would see it 50 more times if given the chance. I recommend it to everyone!!! Jason and crew put on a great show!!
Hey Erica. Thank you so much for Tropicana review. I'll be there in a few weeks, Yay. Hoping to see Rich Little there and laugh Factory. Those ribs looked great. Please do an Excalibur review as I'll be staying there right after my days at the Trop. You're amazing. Cheers 🥰
Erica , we have the 2023 formula one race on our radar as a Vegas event the wife and I would love 💕 to attend. Vegas is poised to be a live sporting event and entertainment destination.
It is heart breaking that this iconic hotel might be no longer. Thanks for the vid, that will no doubt be around for a long time for all of us to remember the history.
Great video! Liked seeing you solo. That slot machine was good! Tropicana is one of the few old school ones left. Back in the 70’s when I was a kid there was virtually nothing but desert around the Tropicana. Toss up between Excalibur and MGM…Love the old school theming vibe of Excalibur, but haven’t seen much of MGM so that would be fun too. MGM was one of the first mega-resorts; and they had that infamous fire in 1980-right around when my Dad stayed there.
Erica - Love your videos - they are helping me prep - you make me want to check out Robert Irvines at the Trop. Where is Colin these days?????? Miss you guys doing the videos together. Hope all is well!!!!
I love BBQ! Especially fall of the bone BBQ ribs. The ribs looked really good. Thank you for another great review video. I just subbed to your channel. 😊 I am already looking forward to your next video.
WOW!!!! Those ribs looked yummy. $22 for the ribs...not bad. $6 for an ice tea. oh wait.... $6 for a plain tea. LOL OMGGGG!!! Thats city and highway robbery. lol lol Anyway, awesome video. Love all your videos. That was some meal. Lots of food. ok..thanks for sharing......not the food, just the video. LOL LOL :) Keep the videos coming. Greetings from NC.
hi LILV gang. I'll have you know, that the Trop is an old haunt of mine, dating back to the Follies Bregere actually. The rooms were dirt cheep but nice enough, as i had yet experienced the Venezia and Bellagio. The pool used to be pop'n though. The hot tubs were open all night. Thank you for taking down memory lane! Have fun, and all the best to all three of you!! BTW, i used get a "Friends of Tropicana" rate, and it wasn't unusual for it to come in as low as $19 a night Sun-Thur. No resort fees back then. O H!!!
Ribs looked great and coleslaw looked good 👍to bad you don't like coleslaw .. GO. to NYNY... Which rooms are the nicer one at the Topicana, l should stay there before it is gone :-)
hi erica, love your videos!!! please, if you get the chance, could you video the sahara construction of the entrance for us? were staying at sahara on the 28th of may for the week and was wondering how far and how much construction is needed to complete the entrance of sahara.. thankyou sooo much.., we love excaliber as your next choice to check out. hope you could fit in sahara in thew next week or so.. thanks erica... ttyl
Shutting down the volcano and bulldozing the Tropicana. Not liking either of those. The Tropicana is just so classic. I have not been in there for a few years but I just love the atmosphere. Erica should do much more face time. I enjoyed that.
Have seen The Purple Reign show several times. Highly recommended. Coming in June and have tickets for Legends in Concert. Hoping it's good. Great to see your videos.
Tropicana is a famous hotel, run by Hilton. The pricing is modest and affordable on a normal income ($50K/year). Love seeing you, Erica. The mere sight of elaborately prepared food makes me gain weight. You are keenly witted, Erica. Collin is a somewhat modest son. Craig likes innovative constructions (creations). He wants an underwater robot.? Many of us wonder how things got the way they are in the desert and non-desert environments. Boulder Beach Marina is no exception.
@@OfficialLILV Yes, very much. Only downside was waiting 2 hours for a room to be ready, and that was only because I took one on the smoking floor. Not sure how much longer it would have been otherwise. Loved Victory Burger and breakfast at Saginaw's.
Excellent video. This format, with you alone doing both the commentary and video taping, should be the standard going forward. The video is informative with good flow without the distraction of banal chit-chat. As far as your next project, I suggest the MGM. It's a huge property with plenty of attractions your fans will appreciate. And hopefully, the videos will get longer as time goes on. I think you finally discovered the right formula. Bravo!
Just got back from Hawaii. The drinks were still around $2.50 there so Vegas prices are a shock even to me who frequents the town. In the last few years I've grown accustomed to ordering ice water. For a family of 4, soft drinks would be $24. Too much even for Vegas standards. Cool vid though!
Ribs at a casino or a pizza place? Jessie Rae's is like 1.8 miles from where you are :) Seems only fair to you to try ribs from an actual barbeque spot with a working smoker next :)
Wow The Tropicana looks a little lacking a People it’s such a sad thing because this is such an iconic hotel. I wish they can do something about it instead of just giving it away and tearing it down and perhaps updating it make it a little modern I don’t know. JS!!
8:20 STRAIGHT AHEAD WHERE YOU HAVE YOUR CAMERA POINTED IS THE OLD 3 STORY COUNTRY CLUB BLDG THAT WAS "ALL THAT" & HAPPENING BACK IN THE DAY. (LOOK AT IT ON GOOGLE MAPS) I WORKED @ THE TROP & A MGR WAS KIND ENOUGH TO GIVE ME A TOUR = VERY SPOOKY, ESPECIALLY DOWN IN THE BASEMENT WHERE THERES A "SECRET TUNNEL" THE MOB USED TO SHAKE THE FBI TAILING THEM THAT GOES UNDER TROP BLVD AND COMES OUT IN THE MGM CAGE (SEALED ON THAT END NOW)
