Great comparison between the two Joy. For Malaysian weather, I wear the 2017 for daytime and the 2012 for evening time. Both are great releases by Dior!
I think I've found my Holy Grail with Eau Sauvage line. The original one is fantastic for hotter days, while Parfum is well suited for winter - both are masterpieces.
I give the 2017 version 8/10 It projects and performs very badly in cold weather but it's good for hot weather unlike the 2012 version that shines very well in colder weather
I wanna grab a bottle of this stuff, the 2012 parfum is just beautiful and im kicking myself for not buying 2 bottles when I had the chance I had to buy it retail so not cheap and didn't want to spend the money on 2 bottles 🤔 but I wish I did cause I love it.
a few days back i had the chance to smell tom ford beau de jour and about 2h later that day, eau sauvage edp from dior. I think they compare very well, but the tom ford is sweeter and not as "thick" as the dior fragrance. The lavender note is for sure the most prominent in this one (imo).
Great review as always. But i still have dilemma to buy this edp 2017 or edt. I did try edp 2017, but not on skin, and it was winter. And i'm searching for a signature scent for spring and fall, and maybe summer night, but the focus is on spring and fall. Do you think i should go with this one? I'm 32 but still living like 28 :D
Hey brother.....i have a qstn....im interested in perfume collection also bt perfumes have an expire date of 3 years max....so if i have several perfumes at once then i dont think i will be able to use them all within 3 years.......i wanna know your point of view on that . if you give my reply then it would be helpful. Love your work.
I don't think perfume expire inspite of the expiry date mention as it's the company standard. But they get more mature with time...so no worry, go ahead and buy any One you like. Just keep bottle in good cold and dark place.
You know it's parfum concentration right? it's about more than 20+ times in other fragrance reviews you make where you have the concentration wrong.... there is a reason you don't have that much followers
