It’s probably not the most popular opinion, but I love Dior Homme 2020. I own almost 30 fragrances now and this has to be one of my top three most favorite fragrances. It’s very versatile and despite what many have said the performance is actually great here. It’s a very fresh clean and mature smelling classic scent with a very modern twist. I couldn’t be happier with this fragrance
No that's gonna be the " mini version " Coming out tmr. It will also be followed up by a " quick version " lasting about 9 minutes and a " on the go mobile version" lasting 7.5 minutes for those that wanna watch a review on their smoke break.
Ash is the type of guy that makes a 25 min video on Dior Homme and then follows it up with a "short version " lasting 17 minutes. Stay tuned for the "Mini version " lasting 13 minutes lol Keep them coming my guy!
Had a lady come up to me and ask what i was wearing. She said “huh? My son wears that and i hate the smell. Yours is different.” I agree. Dior homme 2020 > the other diors homme
I traded my 75ml bottle of ultra male for a new 100ml bottle or Dior homme, because this is way more versatile. I enjoy this Frangrance I never smelled the original, the performance is definitely above average as well.
People shouldn't rate new Dior Homme in comparison to iris-version, which has already been watered-down and bs performance since reformulation. Dior Homme 2020 comes out and people raving about how great the older is... Yeah right... no thank you I think it's going to be the new Sauvage for Dior, whih was also recieving very negative reviews at the begining. Now it's an iconic scent, one of the favourities for many youubers. It's going to be similat story with new Homme.
I just got it and I absolutely love it. I had the benefit of knowing it's completely different to the old version otherwise I would have had some issues with it. 100% different fragrance and should never have been marketed as a Dior Homme fragrance. It's a gorgeous fragrance though and has immediately rocketed into my top 5.
Dior Homme is dior's interpretation of what a fragrance made for men should be. The original one came out more than 15 years ago.... the image of what a "man" is changed, why shouldn't they change the fragrance? Also, in my opinion this new Dior Homme is much more manlier than the original one ever was. The original one was unisex if anything, so that one shouldn't have been named Dior "Homme" either.
Lovely scent but for some reason i get nose blind to this scent almost immediately after spraying. I own 3 bottles cause I really like the scent but this is my experience with it.
I am not going to lie, the only issue may be that it's call Dior Homme which is synonymous with that iris note...I think dior homme 2020 is a solid gem
Ash, do you know that they have already repackaged and rebranded DHP? Now in a 100ml bottle... "Perfumer's Word" included in Dior's site is different than the previous... actually, both DHP are available. This is for Europe sites.
It's obvious here that sales of Dior Homme 2011 have probably slowed so Dior have released the 2020 version to boost mass market sales. They've used the Dior Homme name as marketing to bring this to the forefront. I feel there may be many average guys out there outside the fragrance community that will smell this and buy it as a blind reach to wear to work everyday, the same guys who possibly would be turned off by the make up iris note of 2011. Plus to an average person it's still a 'Dior' so will sell off the back of the brand. 2020 has definitely been made 'safer'. Personally I like it but I prefer 2011. I also feel that those that are trashing it now in a couple of years are going to be praising it 'for its nuisances' and saying it's grown on them. When Creed Viking was released, so many were hating on it, but now many are singing it's praises, likewise with Bleu de Chanel. I picked DH 2020 up for £60 ($75) in a sale and I'm very happy with it. I'll see all the nay sayers in a couple of years! ✌🏼
I'm probably way off but I haven't smelled azaro chrome in forever and this gives me memories of it. Quality is really nice, sampled once but lasts almost all day
3 years later and nothing has changed 😂 People get a new frag, smell it, "I expected more/Its nothing special", then 2 weeks later "Why everyone should buy X frag" and claim its amazing
Absolutely bad marketing and decision on Dior’s part. Its not a bad scent at all but it’s marketed to the more mass appeal who have normal or no nada that like this scent. This should have been a new fragrance altogether or at least a new flanker of Dior Homme. But NOT remove the original or override or replace it. I understand the decision of wanting to create a new concept of Dior Homme as the new line and 2020 fresh new approach but deleting or replacing a power house classic that was mass appealing and unique and in essence, hip and ahead of its time and thee fragrance that was enough to blur the lines between male and female was a failure and wrong executed decision. Maybe some who love this will disagree but I bet it’s more so because they love this new one and weren’t much into or know much about the original. Dior could have made a smarter choice and keep the original and this one could have been a new flanker of it or a new fragrance/name and everyone wins. But what Dior ended up causing was having an outcry from the majority of fans not receiving this new one well considering it a replacement instead of welcoming it as new fragrance and worried if the original will be harder to find or discontinued as we now see stores have removed the original for this one taking its place.
This fragrance is not bad it’s just not special or unique. It definitely doesn’t Trump the original. But if they are thinking of discontinuing the original in the long run, I’m moving on to Valentino Uomo Intense as it smells identical and there’s a couple of knock offs in some stores like Homme Intense and idole by geparlys Parfums I seen at malls. In the meantime The original homme is now being called on the bottle Dior Homme Original but in Europe. Hopefully we will get that here in the states soon but for now it’s late as we usually are with European releases
I feel like this is just a designer take on Geza Schoen’s Escentric 01. I enjoy this, there isn’t much to hate. I just wish they wouldn’t have played it so safe. All of the ISO E Super.

I think that is not the best, but even more i think that I'm nose blind, kind of it comes and goes, try coffee or drink some water, and smell it again, btw great scent, love it.
This could be from ANY house, with ANY name, in ANY bottle and it's still not worth $100. I'm only hanging on to my bottle because it looks nice in the collection. 5 wearings was 6 wearings too much. If they make a parfum version and round out the fuzzy screeching woods, I may consider it.

Because I just buy one and the batch code say is from September 2019 But the bottle it's the new 2020 presentation I'm confused Please tell me do you got the old version before 2020 bottle or the new bottle whit the older version or what is call the original version before 2020? Please let me know what is your case Because I need to find out before I open the package so if the JUICE is 2020 I would return it Or if the JUICE is the original before 2020 even tho is in a new 2020 bottle I will keep it because what it matter is the JUICE to me Thank you I hope you can help me out I would greatly appreciate it

Dior homme parfum, BUT it's too dark and...'thick' if that makes sense. Dior homme is just beautiful man, give it a try, but if you already have it, give it another chance. Spray more on clothes and some on skin. It really is signature scent worthy and don't worry, people WILL smell it on you.
i was this close to buying it. definitely has a classic barber scent (not my cup of tea) mixed with something sweet (which i love.) my final spritz of the sample smelt ghastly though! no hint of that luxurious sweetness which has put me off buying it.
I'm so disappointed! Dior Homme ( the OG, the Intense & the Parfum versions) is one of my fav lines (although I'm not a "homme"). I am such a Dior fan-girl (although I despise Savage), but I don't even want to smell the Dior Homme 2020. 😭
Living in the Soviet Union in 80ies I remember we had those cheap Vietnamese balsams with spicy eucalyptus oil to heal a cold or flue. Exactly that’s how this new Dior smells. I hate it :)
Great review Ash as always....Just received this as a Christmas gift and I must say it's absolutely boring. You took the words right out of my mouth. Longevity is terrible smells like skin sent after 2 hours. Save your money and try the Intensive version which I believe is a lot more satisfying. I'm so disappointed with Christian Dior. I would spray the perfumer right in the eyes with this..... and say how dare you.
