That anecdote where Alex says "We got two Hirschs, we only want one" makes me wonder if it also influenced the scene from A Tale of Two Stans where Stan is overhearing the conversation about Ford

I was surprised when I found out that Gravity Falls was Jason's first time voice acting for a cartoon. I remember being blown away by his voice acting in Into the Bunker and especially in Not What He Seems during these really serious and emotional scenes.

I discovered Gravity Falls recently, as an adult, and this episode hit me *so hard* because of it. Mabel’s journey here is heartbreaking and it seamlessly leads into the finale in such a painful way, this is one of *the* best shows I’ve watched so thank you for uploading these commentary tracks for fans like myself to delve into, and re-experience our love of the show with.
