You know what? Despite what Roiland ended up doing, this episode was still delightful, and there was still a great deal of animator insight behind it.

It is canon that there is a universe where Mabel never gets Waddles, and Bill Cipher never takes over Gravity Falls because Dipper and Mabel never figure out anything is going on in the basement.

for those wondering what justin roiland did: in january of 2020 he was charged with domestic violence and s3xual assault on his (anonymous) ex-girlfriend, this was kept under wraps until the information was released in 2022. he has also been accused of making sexual comment's towards minors. + all of the RAMPANT inc3st plots in rick and morty (he's the co-creator of the show, meaning that he had the ability to ALLOW this content into the show itself and likely came up with some of them during production) which is! eugh!
