Those green algae will turn into white sand after two weeks but duting summer they are visible. Best time to go there is in september until february because the beach is free from green algae.
If you want to see the maximum beauty and turquoise water of Boracay, go in the morning, because the angle of the Sun just hits the water at a perfect angle.
Hi mergim once i open my youtube im always looking for your channel bec everyday youre uploading .our stressfree enjoy your travel and take care always.👍✌️😍😄🙏🙏🙏🇵🇭
The green stuff is seaweed. It is seasonal. It is supposed to be responsible for keeping the sand white and very fine. In the 1980's I traveled there the shoreline was lined with coconut trees and very very few houses. What a huge change . I am from Aklan. Been living in Canada for over 30 years. We will be there in August. Thanks for showing us the places.
The leading cause of the algae problem in Boracay is the excess nutrients in the water. This is due to the area’s lack of proper waste management and sewage treatment practices. Sewage and other forms of waste are discharged directly into the sea, increasing nitrogen and phosphorus levels. This provides an ideal environment for algae to thrive. Nothing to do with keeping the sand white 😅
@@mattserle6624 but if sewage isn't why comment it is? The green alage has been happening for decades way before tourist started going, tourism may have made it worse but it would happen either way
I wish you could go to Amanpulo in Palawan. It's a bit expensive, but there's no HAB (Harmful Algal Bloom) there. Perfectly clear water, and not a lot of people.
HI MERGIM...FYI IT'S A NATURAL ACCURANCE THAT HAPPENS ATLEAST TWICE A YEAR...IT MAKES THE SAND WHITER AFTER IT HAPPENS...ITS MOTHER NATURES WAY OF CLEANING IT AND FOOD FOR OTHER SEA CREATURES...ENJOY...KEEP SAFE.
Omg ! Mergim where are you now again! That’s so beautiful ! You must be very very happy where you are!!! Lol! You are reaching more and more paradise whohoo!
It’s good to snorkel there Mergim! Even near the shoreline, you can see some fish! The silver ones and those like zebra are what I usually see. Apparently they love when I rub my feet on the sand, seems like they eat something from the sand.
Mergim, the main purpose of the Crystal boat for girls is for picture taking. and the kuyas are usually good photographers, they'll guide you what pose to do. haha
@mergim if you are still in boracay, attend the miss universe philippines event tomorrow in aqua boracay. U just need to pay for ticket i think its 1500 pesos That would be an interesting vlog ❤
D last part of d video makes me laugh..when u smiled with that lady taking pic on d clear canoe..u know Filipinos love taking pics..😅😂 Go to El Nido or Coron ..view is breathtaking❤
So crowded now, but it's part of the fun. 😊 Went there last May, Mergim. Not too crowded yet, good to know the tourism industry is booming and back to normal now.
Wow Boracay beach! The World's famous beach due to its whitest and finest sand beach like talc and clear water..often voted by many international travel magazine's as "The Best Beach in the World" amazing!
Algae is part of the marine ecosystem. It shouldn't be seen as an eyesore that disfigures the beautiful seascape. You see algae because it's not a large swimming pool but the sea.
That "Lumot" is seasonal here in Boracay especially on summer which is kinda sad because people tends to be more on summer but it is also the reason why the sand is really fine and white.
