TLM should be available to the faithful in every parish. let people in 70s celebrate 1970s Novus Ordo whereas others can attend TLM.

Antifex The Holy Catholic Faith, i.e., the venerable Roman Rite, cannot co-exist side by side with the Novus Ordo religion, i.e. , the Missale Romanum of Paul VI, anymore than Catholicism with Protestantism.

@@dariusclovis1374 Correct. There has to be some latitude with discussion but comparing degeneracy with holiness must not be worthy of consideration. The trick is determining the correct form of charity to deliver the message with.

Please, please, please consider releasing the second episode online as well as in theaters!!!! Even if you have to charge a small fee. I think the reason why so many people have seen the first episode is because it was online. Consider the method that the show ‘the Chosen’ has taken…. I think they have been successful.

Beautiful movie…………made me nostalgic for the reverence and beauty of days gone by. I was brought up in the 40s and realize all we lost. I try to get to a TLM mass once a month but it’s quite a distance from where I live. We do not have a TLM in my area. SO SAD!

The Traditional Latin Mass is the fulfillment of the Holy Sacrifice of Mass, as perfect as is humanly possible. The Mass of Pope Paul XI is something less than that.

The liturgy website indicates that this is not against the novus ordo Mass... It seems that there are some highlighted & presented who may not be in favor of such... E. G. :"Father Jackson rejected the contention that Father Szymakowski's abandonment, perhaps temporary, of the Traditional Latin Mass to offer the "normative" Mass (Father Jackson's phrase), reflected negatively on his training at Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary, noting that there have been priests ordained by the Society of Saint Pius X who have left Tradition to offer the Novus Ordo Missae exclusively, some doing so soon after ordination. A source in the Society of Saint Pius X has confirmed that there have been some priests who have indeed left to offer the Novus Ordo Missae exclusively, something, it should be pointed out, that they would never be permitted as members of the Society of Saint Pius X. No priest of the Society of Saint Pius X would be permitted to offer one Novus Ordo Missae and remain within its ranks"....

I AM SAYING VATICAN II "BAD". YOU CAN SAY WHAT YOU WANT. I came into the church during the Latin mass era, age 12. I now 78 and I'm not even slightly afraid to say what I think. I don't go to mass where I live because it's a prostestantised mess if I ever saw it. Alter girls only, eucharist on the hand, Eucharistic ministers who don't have proper training, oran postures, hand holding, Protestant music and a priest who won't respond to a non threatening email. Nearest Latin mass. 150 miles away

V2 is all sound although it’s not as crystal clear as Trent. It’s unfortunate that most priests deviated into heterodoxy with the spirit of v2 as a mandate for heterodoxy that it wasn’t. Our fight is with the forces of evil who want heterodoxy, not with a valid ecumenical council.

The novis ordo people don't understand that church is not about entertainment. If they need that instead of real worship, they can be PROTESTANTS which is what they essentially are by condemning the TLM.

It's extremely difficult to expect from a Pope who, as an Archbishop, presided over a "tango" New Mass and, as the Supreme Pontiff, happily con-celebrated in idol worship (Pachamama) to engage in any form of "dialogue" that would show any type of sympathy or compassion towards any Church member who attends and promotes a liturgy that is the exact opposite of the liturgical antics which Rome, itself, is currently adhering to.

Tim Gordon is a goofy guy but this episode wasn’t terrible. Why can’t people watch the film without getting hung up on who is in it? That being said, I would’ve loved to see some SSPX priests interviewed. I still loved the film though

I dont go to theatres. So I wont see it. I only watch it at home with my family at hand except with the new restrictions we now have no way to even communicate with family. ; please help with the communications problem.

The form is important, but isn‘t the message much more important? You can proclame the Gospel in an authenic way in bouth liturgys. Can‘t you? I don‘t think that the form of the Mess is the biggest problem…we need the authentic and traditional teach of our Catholic Church. What do you think about this?

I think it's worth saying that the NO was created, not modified like previous missal changes, and with a specific purpose in mind. The purpose of the liturgy, and any changes to it, should be the glory of God. That, admittedly, wasn't the purpose of the 1969 missal, unfortunately.

Alex The venerable Roman Mass (TLM), unlike the Novus Ordo Missae of Paul VI (1969), is the perfect enshrinement of the Holy Catholic Faith, particularly that of Transubstantion & that of the Real Presence. Whereas, the new mass is a striking departure from the Catholic Mass in form & substance.

Think about the same message presented in two forms: one beautiful and inspiring awe. The other amateurish and insipid. Further, the Mass is not merely nor even primarily a teaching tool but Worship befitting the Creator of the universe. In that case, the form of the gift matters. Is it presented sloppily abs without care or wrapped in beauty and presented with love?

It was far too American centric. And the point had barely been made about the TLM before moving into the novus ordo. There should have been many more episodes before touching that. It was also far too short. Too long in anticipation and no indication of when episode 2 coming out

Consider that he's an American, and an independent filmmaker with a small budget and a family to support. Given that, I think he can be forgiven for not scouring the globe for stories. Especially since "the whatchacallit bug" has pretty much nixed international travel for we, the proles. Consider also: this was originally intended to be a single film, not a trilogy.

I can totally understand this criticism, because I agree with it. Episode 1 was made to be more of an intimate, story-driven investigation about why anyone would choose the TLM. That happened to take place in the USA, but we are currently planning international travel for Episode 3.

After reading and listening different between both mass NO shouldn’t be valid with all this Protestant parts phrases how they transform this NO is not close to unfold our Catholic Faith!
