He's definitely underappreciated by a lot of fans, but players definitely give Dirk love and respect. Even non basketball players. I remember cracking up when Keyshawn Johnson forgot about Dirk on a list of European players because he said Dirk was always so cool that he didn't even think of him as a foreign player. Still love to see him getting shine in his post playing career. I always loved his game. Even back in the days when a lot of us thought most European players would be too soft to play in the NBA, you always had to say "except Dirk". Class on and off the court, and an all time great player.

Sabonis Sr was great too probably the most skilled big man ever. Could pass like Magic Johnson and shoot threes. However, by the time he was in the NBA injuries had taken a toll in his body though. Even then He could match up against Shaq. The Joker reminds me of him
