I'm happier for Mavs fans. I was hoping Mavs loose just so I don't have to see Luka play through injury anymore, knowing we don't have a chance in the WCF with him compromised. But if he can be 75-80% Luka that changes things and boy was this a sight for sore eyes
@@thekaying The difference was having Hardy out there instead of Exum. It allowed Luka and Kai spacing, that Exum could not provide, when Exum played it was 14 minutes of dead time offensively.
@thekaying if he unleashes his ruthless deep strikes and Irving actually asserts himself they could win against the nuggets game 7 probably since joker is surging.
Only was right about pacers vs Knicks for game 3 but was wrong the first 2 games against Knicks with his "guaranteed" chant he was quite after both losses 🤣😂😂
Inside NBA is the most entertaining bit around NBA, but we should not expect their analysis to be spot on, they are not known for their cautious opinions.
Love how he & team are playing now. No whining. But when the Yugo twins face-off, Both will be yapping at the refs. AG & Joker uncalled fouls will be driving Luka insane.
Daniel Gafford & P.J. Washington were the best pickups of the entire trade deadline and they've been showing since FEBRUARY why that is the case on BOTH ends of the floor. They've taken the other guys on OKC out of the game offensively since game 1 and that's why Shai is the only one getting his numbers as he's getting his points on tough baskets you will live with. Derrick Jones Jr. has been great defensively as well: Shai was 0-8 when guarded by him, PLUS he had the game sealing block on Chet's 3 and dunk at the other end... yet this was just TONIGHT. It's always been said that OKC's offense is stagnant but can we talk about the REAL reason it's poor? It's been the Dallas defense. It's been said in previous years that Dallas needed to have size around the rim and get better defensively in order to take it to the next level. Well, they have and they deserve all the credit.
I still believe that young man should of been the MVP on OKLAHOMA. That's the definition of an MVP. He carried a team to be the best in the league. No one expected that. He did pretty much the same thing Steve Nash did when he beat O'Neal when he won his MVP.
@@MrGoddlie so did Jokic 6th season in a row carrying the team always and elevating others around him and he the better player doing it. If anyone got robbed was Luka
How come they only rib Chuck? Shaq is the one disrespecting on live interview. Now shaq's MVP is about to get bounced? Maybe the team is afraid of Shaq acting all cranky and insecure, if they tease him
SGA outplayed Luka all series long what are you talking about U guys were too quiet about mvp convos after g2 in wolves Everybody talking tough when they up
@@MoonIronTR Yea right u ain't even watch a game... Tell the Shai Alexander or new Okc Westbrick stats? The only difference betwen Westbrick and Shai is... Shai never gonna be MVP, and that block that Luka give to u overrated Shai Alexander just prove the point...
@@MoonIronTRevery mvp since 2015 steph didn’t win a championship so what’s the point? SGA didn’t win mvp and now, he about to lose this series as well, while not giving value to this series other than getting his 30 and bounce.
That game 4 loss of Mavs is a blunder with those free throws. This is a wrap in game 6. But Mavs need to work further on those free throws as the Nuggets is a way tough opponent in conference finals.
@@enriqueb1476you miss A lot. Watch the other episode. this is serious. None other so called analyst ever did that directly on live interview. You diss someone before or after, not during announcement interview ON HIS FACE. F that. Hope someone high up on TNT thinking the same thing. Shaq is a big deadweight and detrimental on tarnishing the show
@@MoneyMadeKade elite role players? How are you elite with 2rookies starting!!? You goofy & a casual. OKC is superseding expectations and it's really on the coaching and SGA to empower the rest of the team to have plays for em. It's asking a lot of their coach isn't championship level. Also SGA has never been in this situation before.
If the Mavs knocked down their free throws in game 4 this series would’ve been over. Dallas is playing great defense since the trade. Luka and Kyrie don’t have to go crazy every game. They have help from almost everyone. Players know their role and embrace it.
Kyrie slumping the last 2 games. 12 points, 2 reb, only 4 assists in 40 minutes? Dafuq was that? He's supposed to be no. 2 and playoff veteran, but PJ almost has the same numbers. Also that Hardaway jr is useless, 17mil per season trash. Mavs should cut him in offseason
@@lucky889s9 I was thinking the same thing about Kyrie but I noticed he’s focused on defense way more than scoring this series. Which is working because his defense is contagious. Even Luka playing decent defense because of Kyrie’s example. I think PJ is gonna be our 3rd leading scorer next season. Watching Hardaway gives me high blood pressure. All he does is jack up wild shots. I don’t know why Jason Kidd doesn’t play Hardy more.
@@jasonafrifa1418still thinking Kyrie should have done more. Be it an assist, passing, ballhandling, etc on offense. And Hardaway should be gone after the season, he's 3rd biggest contract after luka and Kyrie, but a deadweight. Why did they sign him in the first place baffles me. Maybe his dad is close with Cuban or Kidd? But he's always a G league player. Worst, I don't think any team is interested in him with 17mil per season
@@lucky889s9 yeah I do agree that Kyrie can be more aggressive on offense especially driving to the rim. But yeah we’re stuck with Hardaway until his contract is up. He can contribute only if he’s not taking terrible shots and plays decent defense. He should leave the scoring to Luka Kyrie PJ and Jones Jr
@@jasonafrifa1418gafford, PJ, jones jr are really nice upgrades from grant Williams and such. They got the hustle and grit and are really giving it all on the court. Also Lively is now more dependable
@@jarardx2312he definitely has this series. Shai isn't that great he can't shoot 3s and is a horrible passer. Luka is hard to figure out because he can find other players to get comfortable.
@@jsm530 But he's one of the best midrange shooters in the game. And one of the best two way players in the game. And he's not a horrible passer lol. Horrible passers don't avg 6apg
Shaq: Unlike the other night, when Dallas coudn't maintain the lead, they did a better job of maintaining the leasd tonight. Wow, hard-hitting analysis like that, that's why we turn to Shaq.
@@30MF_yes you can Luka certainly is a foul begger but he's way better than these bums on TV purely from a technical level. Passer shooter dribbler. Barkley couldn't shoot.
Amazing what Luka can do when he pays more attention to playing the game than complaining to the refs. He has the potential to be the best player in the league right there with Jokic. He just needs to grow up.
I'm unable to watch full games, but my idea is that in his younger days he would try to beat the blitzes and doubles to prove himself. Now when he passes off as defenders are coming, he helps the team but he gives up trying to be a star. My kind of player.
@@tunnelvision7906it is serious. None other so called analyst ever did that directly on live interview. You diss someone before or after, not during announcement interview. F that. Hope someone high up on TNT thinking the same thing. Shaq is a big deadweight and hazard on the show
@@lucky889s9 It didn't seem like he dissed him at all..He literally called him the best player in the world I think. He just gave an honest thought about this years MVP..people making such a big deal out of nothing
Kudos to Jason Kidd for making the adjustment of benching Exum for Hardy. When Exum was in the game the ball did not flow smoothly, the defense was not staying connected, and he was turning the ball over constantly. Plus with Hardy in there the Thunder cant double maul Kyrie or Luka, cuz Hardy also has playmaking abilities.
Barkley's comments about SGA dribbling was what Canadian basketball fans saw this summer in Olympic qualifying. SGA was brillant in the tournament but was very ball dominant and led to some very stagnant, iso style basketball that limited ball movement. SGA brought us to the bronze, but ya, the same thing i see with OKC offense is very reminiscent of this summer
Love the way Lively is stepping up in this series. He's showing he can handle the pressure with OKC testing him late in the games, hitting big shots from the line.
Kyrie was crucial for this win. Kyrie showed up when it mattered. Yes, he only had 12 points but 12 points at just the right time. Stats aren't everything.
Happy to see someone stating what I've been thinking. The desire for Kyrie to diminish his star power for team success for me far exceeds anything else I see on Dallas. He's helping Luka become more team oriented. I'm old enough to have watched Bill Russell, and Russell always put his team success first.
SGA 31.4/9/7.2/1.4/2.4 with 49.6 from field 2.4 to Luka 23.8/10.6/8.4/1.8/0.6 with 42.4 from field and 4 to I think SGA showed who is the real mvp in the series
@@MoonIronTR in playoffs, more important than stats is when you show up and the control you have on the series. I feel Luka can win any game of this series if he really wants to. He did that in the clippers series, played bad and then game 5 showed up and reminded everyone he's in control of literally everything in the series. I can't say the same about Shai.
@@MoonIronTR in the regular season stats speaks way more. However, if for you those numbers you gave are a good reason for Shai being the mvp of the series then you must have absolutely no doubt that Luka should have finished ahead of him in the MVP this season
@@lucky889s9i mean in fairness if a team goes down 2-0 losing both at home and losing the way they did you would think that lol.Only 5 teams in history came back in those circumstances so numbers on your side.

Love how Mavs are playing now. But.... Lets see how the 2 Yugos whine to refs, especially when AG and Joker are fouling and not getting called. Luka is gonna gonna explode, Malone will fake small market outrage again, and Kidd will be stonefaced. Refs will grease the Squeakier Nuggets with the Walmart card, and then check on Mavs' new Vegas flex.
MvP has often alternated in voting in the past, and not gone to best, so the trophy makes its rounds. Shaq does not like the lack of rotation today, but excuse was most mvp for their team. (Ex: Look at Jordan ring years without MVP) SGA definitely got OKC further this year - he is their MVP, they did win best in West over Nuggets, and they beat Nuggets. Joker does not "need" MvP over smaller market OKC - but he got it. And he will be just as good next few years. He is the best point center. Wemby is coming, but will develop differently. League needs this trophy to move.
@@artimp152 It's Most Valuable Player, which is still the best player. The best player would be the most valuable wouldn't they? So yes arguably Jordan has a case he was the best and most valuable player from 88'-98'. Wilt Chamberlain should have won the MVP in 62' because he was clearly the best player. If you take Russell off of the Celtics that year they still could have won the championship, the sixers wouldn't of had a chance without Wilt.

Giddy benched!!! Nurse made the same mistake couple of years ago playing the couple of bench players as starters. Since then, the Raptors were never the same. They lost confidence. I remember that day as it was yesterday. I was in a aw.
People criticize Kyrie for not getting 20+ points in a loss but don't praise him at all when they win, even though he's playing winning basketball. If the guys on the Suns were willing to play more team-oriented and as a unit instead of taking turns in ISO, they'd have had more success like the Mavs are having with Kyrie doing what is needed from game to game.
