The roko quick straps work well too. Replace the strap with Velcro piece. Can knock your goggles loose with one hand and put them back on one handed. Velcro on the left.
Do you find yourself having to “adjust” your goggles after you flip them back into contact with your face? Normally it takes me a couple seconds to adjust my goggles to fit comfy when I first put them on. I like the idea of this but I’m curious of how much fidgeting and adjusting is necessary when flipping them on and off all the time.
These look super nice. I also wear prescription goggle inserts, and in an extreme enduro goggles usually end up on the back of the helmet.. Except I can't see without them either! I've found some nice anti-fog spray that has been really effective, but I might need to try this as some icing on the cake. By the way, I've been meaning to ask, your videos are really well edited and produced. Do you have background or formal training in this kinda thing or is it a natural talent for you?
Haha, Thanks for the kind words, but no formal video training whatsoever, just learning as I go and it's really time consuming. I think my editing skills suck, but hopefully getting a little better with each video. I'm really liking the air flaps so far but they are a little pricey. However, for me they are worth the coin. I noticed Mario Roman has been using them also!
Did you get yours directly from "www.airflaps.com"? The two North American "distributors" don't seem to be an option. I saw these before and thought they were too expensive but I'm starting to reconsider them now.
Laughed at the disclaimer. I watch Kyle's channel (and so do you, obviously) and I think he's probably an OK dude. However, funny shit is funny shit. LOL. I noticed Jeff Slavens took a little poke at him in the comments of one of Tokyo Offroad's videos, a short time ago too. Look out Kyle. :)
Robson Enduro agreed, price is the only thing holding me back. Extreme enduro I can see it helping. Otherwise I’m going 2x pane if I know it’s going to be foggy/rainy weather. Racing... you really have time to flip these things? Just rip the goggles off and carry on. In my opinion
agree that they are expensive for what they are. For me however they were worth the $$. I'm no factory rider and only have 1 good eye as it is. I can't take chances by running without goggles.
Robson Enduro I’ve had good luck with 100% dual pane vented ones. Having the racecraft frame also helps. They key is not to wipe the lens, once you wipe/smear the lense, it’s over.
it's been a while since I've used them, but yes Quick Straps work very well also as far as relieving fog. I like how the Air Flaps keep the goggles covering my eyes for protection.
Hey Guys! I have it. And it didnt work out. If you pull it forward because its foggy. It makes the thing worse, because then you breathing in🙈. @primalenduro
I've been using it with success for 2 months now and I tend to run very hot. So I can fog anything and these have worked perfectly for me. That being said, it could also depend on goggle/helmet differences and setups. I've been using the Leatt Velocity 6.5 with the Klim f5 helmet. I also tear the foam out of the goggles around the frame for additional venting.
