Yes we miss him so much he made everyone so excited to see him he was so hot and so handsome but I guess that the remake isn't that bad but I like the orgianl better it has a lot better dances then the remake did
i love the cast members just not in this movie like nicole scherzinger and colt who plays johnny were ok but abigails dancing was wtf, she was stiff af. i hope my kids find the original where they knew how to move

I totally agree with you. Seeing this crap, made me miss Patrick even more. Original is classic for a reason, and after one more year or two, we'll forget that we ever saw this, but the one and the only Dirty dancing will be rememberd forever.
they didn't hate eachother , it is just that if you are raised by a classical balletteacher and you have a dancepartner that doesn't know how to dance but has to learn it from the start then you might loose your patience. They both did well and he tought her well cause otherwise she wouldn't have this result .
I actually thought they had zero chemistry in the first movie even though I watched it a lot.....the second movie well they do have chemistry but still Abigail is so so wrong for baby.

As a dancer I just cringed at the spaghetti arms this version of Baby had. I mean in the original she started out with spaghetti arms but by the end her strength and timing was every dancers dreamland. This actress had spaghetti arms throughout the whole thing. I don’t think her weight was the problem I think the fact that she was not using her core at all, she wasn’t moving her hips(with this type of dancing you really need to move those hips), because of her not using her core her whole frame was off, and she didn’t even dance.....she walked in a weird way........that’s all she did😐. This movie is every dancers worst nightmare.

Not to defend this piss of shit of a movie, but Jennifer Grey actually didn't know how to dance in the beginning. Swayze had to teach her just like in the movie. But she did know how to dance in the end though. Unlike here

I've just watched this remake .I've never ever seen such a awful remake in my entire life ,Baby and Johnny are horrendous they can't act and she can not dance ,what on earth were they thinking !!! Long live the original .I salute you patrick swayze and Jennifer grey .that's magic !!!!!

OMG I am not from US but i just saw it on youtube and I`m in shock. It looks like parody of classic movie. It`s just horrible. Now I`m truly understand why Jennifer Gray said no to appearing in Dirty Dancing remake. Well done girl!

because one day maybe our grandchildren ask why remaking movies is illegal and we need things like this to hold up as an example. and this is so bad it's hilarious and worth a watch just for that reason!
There was too much talking in this film especially in areas where it wasn't needed. In the original you didn't need to spoon feed everyone with what was going on, you just knew the problems were already there by the characters motives and expressions.
I can only speak from gratitude that I was able to experience the original. Seriously....watch it right after this...it makes you appreciate it even more.

I feel awful saying this, but the reason Jennifer Grey was so graceful had a lot to due with her size. Abagail is just not a good dancer, or slender enough. Why did they choose her?? Her acting is awful too. WOW.
imatiation is the highest for of flattery. this is not good. I love dirty dancing it's one of my favorite go to happy movies. this remake makes me sad very sad. and to share the same name. that's how it ruin it for me
