Just in case someone missed it, this was produced by the great Quincy Jones who also produced you know, the original Thriller (And literally millions of record sales beyond just Michael Jackson, as well as his own work on Jazz bands in the past, a true legend if you didn't know). Now while many producers are not opposed to others covering songs they've worked out, I can tell you it would take a very special bands (Well, 2 bands in this case) to get a producer to basically do one of his most iconic ever songs a second time. But I mean listen to this: just incredible interpretation that's both reasonably faithful to the original while taking in a very fresh new direction.

Quincy Jones is just their manager though. They produce everything themselves, together with Simon Petrén. I’ve heard one of them say, in an interview, that they don’t send Quincy Jones anything, not even demos, until it’s completely finished.

It is amazing that Dirty Loops recorded in Sweden while Cory Wong and the brass section were state side. Identical sets, identical cameras and alot of spliceing.

I read somewhere that these videos were filmed in two different countries. Cory and the brass section in the US and DL in Sweden I think. That’s why Cory and Henrick never cross over.

Double bell Euphonium not a tuba. At that section they switched from trumpets to flugelhorns. Check out the songs 'Turbo' and 'Follow the Light' from the same band. They show you an even funkier bass than here. All other DL shit is great too.

In listening to the bass, don't you think that he has a fretless effect hooked into the sound? It has a sound like I use in a Roland effects pedal. Its crisp but it also has that smooth sound until he goes.to slapping.

Не. бро, херня все это.. Но попытка хороша, но не стоит ему в эту "музыку" лезть, вот честно, не нужно этого делать. Камрад хорошо поет, голос у него есть.... но не нужно туда лезть. Он хорош (при условии что голос не был обработан, (имхо, а он был обработан..)).
