Thanks for sharing! I didnt know it fit the big tire Coleman’s!! Now i will have to get the kit for my ct200uex lol. I already have the mb 200 rear kit on my bike as well, it will be nice to have the front and rear brakes for stopping going 50-60+ miles an hour👍
I've only wanted something like this for *2 YEARS* on my RB200 ! While they sold off old Mega Moto 212 wheel/disc/lever/caliper parts, the missing piece of the puzzle was always that *one fork* with the caliper mount already welded to it. Apparently no one could have that fork re-made, and so they put together this kit instead. As a bolt-on it's not as elegant as simply having the caliper mounting boss on the fork, but I'm glad it exists nonetheless. :)
Got my MB200 front brake kit and installed it on my Coleman CT200U-EX. I found out about it watching this video. The install went good. Mine was slightly different than yours even though we both have the exact same bike, color too. The disk bolts were hitting the shock, so I added another washer between the wheel bearing and shock. Also I only used the two spacers supplied in the kit, no extra washers were needed. The kit works great and I definitely would recommend it. The bike now stops extremely fast!!! If anyone needs more stopping power than stock this kit is a good choice.
Thanks for making this video! I just purchased the kit from GPS for my Coleman CT200U-EX. Same minibike as yours, same color too. And a Tillotson 212r MK2 w/Juggernaut and 30 series driven, 9T front sprocket, 50T rear sprocket. I'll post an update on how the install went and how the improved stopping power is compared to just the rear drum brake.
Hey man thanks for the video! I have a “ex” too and I’ve come to find there’s not as many videos on it as other bikes especially as in depth as this video was or with anything besides engine stuff, keep it coming man I’m building mine right along side you and I appreciate the content on a lesser covered bike!
Great video as always! Great you made it out to the Arizona hood ride. You will have to come to a Vegas hood ride and show out! Keep up the great content brother!
Awesome! Did you get the rear disc brake installed to complete the package? Check out the video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eHax9KYC0xo.html
I just found this out about the MB200 Front Disk Brake Kit from GoPowerSports. It is now officially also for the Coleman CT200U-EX/BT200X. Before they said that it is not for the Coleman CT200U-EX. They said that they were working on a kit for it soon. "Hydraulic Front Brake Kit, Trailmaster MB200-2 & Coleman CT200U-EX/BT200X"
Minibike Compatibility: TrailMaster MB200-2 Minibike Coleman CT200U-EX Minibike (either Brown or Black Camo and Front Suspension) Coleman BT200X Minibike
I also have been waiting and waiting for the specific Coleman CT200U-EX kit to come out... Then I saw this video and ordered this kit instead. Do you know if Go Power Sports are working on a disk brake kit for the rear also or just the front?
According to Go Power Sports, they didn't add any extra washers in the installation video like you did. So, I'm wondering why you had to??? Did you go and watch their installation video on it?
Finding your vid on this was great. Been looking to improve the braking as the rear drum only setup is sketchy at best. Do you have a vid about how you did the fuel tank mod? What tank did you fit inside the plastic fake tank?
@@Black66 Awesome ...been banging my head trying to find something that will fit in the fake tank on the CT200U-EX so I can remove the engine tank ...lots cleaner look and the ability to run the carb up in that area the tank was in.
Does that mean it can do standing burnouts? I wish they sold the kit without the front wheel, would save me some money. i already have a chopper wheel on mine which has a front disc.
Just tried to install this kit and found the spacer tube inside the hub is too short. The wheel wont turn with the bolt tight and now the bearings are notchy. Ordering new bearings and will figure out some solution to the short spacer.
I looked on go power sports I can't find it I want to put front an back disc brake an can't find it and you got any tips or ideas any advice would help thank you
What is the diameter of those shocks? I’m asking because I want to do the same mod on my hawg-ty but the front forks are different in design but look to be the same in diameter. Thanks for any help. Great video.
Will this kit fit on the Baja Warrior or Baja heat? It says it won't but, it's still an 8" rim. Is the spacing off for the bearings? I need front brakes or disc conversion for the older Baja Warrior if anyone has any advice or videos!
Measure your front fork tube with a micrometer. If it’s less than 1 1/2 in, caliper mount will work. Spacing could be different on the wheel, but I doubt it.
@BBgunzforlife I already installed the kit on my baja warrior. It went exactly the same as it was in this video. It's worth the money and it's a quick install.
I don't have the money to buy a juggernaut I have to live on SSDI. I affixed my back rear tire all the way forward, I move my 212 tillison, All the way toward the tire and tighten , If I have to replace my clutch or change my sprocket. I have to take a master link off., Running a sixty Tooth rear sprocket., 10 tooth clutch. I use a few less links. Let's slack for the chain to come off. I weigh almost 200 pounds.
Here is the videos on the gas tank. Check out the CT200U-EX playlist for many parts comapisons on the CT200U-EX ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-j7U_0GgGLng.html
