Crazy good man! Legit was just about to do a spin behind a stencil for one of my destroyers and the glue tip definitely saved me from some headaches with black ruining my colors!!
Great looking dye. Something I like to keep in mind when shading is along the edges deepest in you can go pretty dark. The other thing I like to do is bring in a cool blue color with the black/gray I'm shading with I feel like the adds some depth. Hope that makes some sense. Looking good. Keep doing it!
Hey now gigapus! I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "harder plastic" but if they are base grade plastics like DX, Pro-D, Electron, Retro, D-Line, ect. they simply don't take to the dye well...more like crap really. Sometimes a nice long hot dip will cut into some of them, but really your best bet for good results is to stick with the premium plastics. Star-like stuff, then Champion-like stuff is the best. Hope that helps!
The vinyl that I use is Arteza Premium Vinyl. I get it off Amazon in packs of 50 12'x12' sheets. The contact paper brand is Con-Tact, but really any old contact paper should work. The vinyl is where you're better to get the good stuff.
