Maybe you can help me out I also have a bus bar from all my accessories the bus bar is on the battery terminals but also have a jump starter it’s called ( tournament saver pro sold by TH marine) the jump starter is wired to my cranking battery and one trolling motor battery (24 volt system) does it hook up the same way. I've got to say that I am very much appreciative of your video. I am completely illiterate when it comes to anything electrical and this was a huge help! I plan to follow your system to a tee as I have the exact same setup. My question is when adding the second switch (On/Off) for the trolling motor, would you make the following changes to your diagram? -Remove dotted line from trolling motor to tolling battery 2 positive. This would now run to the "Common" on back of switch. Dotted line from trolling motor to battery 1 negative would remain as illustrated. -A new cable would be added from trolling battery 2 positive to "Battery" on back of switch. -Everything else remains as you have illustrated. Hopefully, you can follow that, LOL! Again, thank you for taking the time to put together such a detailed and helpful video!
The second switch for the troller motor does not have a common. It only has 2 connections on the back of the switch. Just take one wire off of the battery and connect it to the switch and add a new wire from the switch back to the battery.

Cool thanks. Will the axillary batteries get charged as the motor runs like the starter motor in this configuration? I'm guessing only when your in position 2.
Can i do something like this in my Toyota Corolla? I want to run my 12v portable microwave in my car without having to run it's alligator clips out of the window and under the hood.😊
