I remembered both Product 19 and Alpha-Bits but don't recall eating them. I do love the Clusters cereal commercial. It's so cute. I swear, the squirrel was saying,"Please?"
The King Vitaman commercials were written and produced by Jay Ward Productions, the same studio that brought us Rocky & Bullwinkle, Hoppity Hooper, George of the Jungle, Super Chicken, Cap'n Crunch, Quisp and Quake, and other stuff.
I have a playlist named: Gone But Not Forgotten - Products. It includes; 2 candy bar, 1 gum & 1 cookie videos. (I also have a playlist this is only cereals) If you haven't already, check 'em out when you can. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
The King Vitaman character was voiced by actor Joe Flynn. Wasn't he on the old TV sitcom "McHale's Navy"? The voice of the clown in the "Kaboom" cereal ad sounded almost like W.C. Fields.
~ Yes, Joe Flynn was on McHale's Navy, whether that's him doing the voiceover, I'm not sure. I think that's WC Fields, too, but I haven't confirmed it. So, you're probably right on both counts!
@@60s70s80sNostalgia I didn't say the voice of the clown in the "Kaboom" cereal ad was that of W.C. Fields. I said it SOUNDED like Fields' voice. In any case, it couldn't have actually been his voice, because the ad is from the 1970s. W.C. Fields died in 1946.
