One other thought, the MG spec sheet mentions that the are more spacious than the original, supposedly creating more soundstage. Interesting to see it does make a difference at all and if a pad swap on the original clears widens it's soundstage
I know there's the novelty wow factor but I actually prefer the cleaner look of the original clear pro (which full disclosure I do own). Looking forward to hearing the comparisons of the differences between how the clear and clear MG sound, but I doubt I'll be upgrading. The original clear pros are my endgame open back.
I bit the bullet and bought the Clear MG Professionals from Sweetwater. Were they worth the price? Yes indeed!!! The only problem I have with these headphones are how they reveal mistakes I made on my past mixes.

J'aime beaucoup le fait d'avoir calibré sa réponse en accord avec celle des moniteurs haut de gamme, ainsi que le décentrage des drivers. Mais peut-on espérer plus tard une version simplifiée plus adaptée à un budget de home-studiste et qui s'accorderait par exemple avec la gamme Alpha ou Shape ? Je sais qu'il existe le modèle Listen beaucoup plus simple mais il est fermé, et j'aimerais un bon casque ouvert qui viendrait seconder mes toutes nouvelles Alpha 50 blanches pour travailler dans le registre très grave que ma petite pièce ne me permet de traiter correctement. En tout cas bravo Focal, je vous suis depuis plus de 20 ans maintenant, ma première paire de biblio, des Focal Cobalt qui font désormais le bonheur d'un copain.

i have focal clear mg porfessional headphones but i can't understand one thing. It is possible to eliminate external sound when playing music so that it is not heard by other people or when recording in the recording studio and causing sound to return to the studio microphone.

Focal have failed to reply to my query regarding the original Clear Professional headphone via their own website. I had an "email recieved" reply but my question was never answered. Focal have no customer service support!

Focal Clear MG Pro looks fantastic, and I'm sure it will sound great too. But, no 4-pin XLR cable? Personally, I find it hard to understand why anyone spends over a thousand dollars or euros and decides to short the return path. Regardless balanced or not, every headphone jack needs to be XLR because otherwise the single-ended jack physically short the return cables. Shorting the return path results in about 20db downgrade in crosstalk. 20db in crosstalk is a significant performance you are simply just throwing out.
Care to elaborate as to what is the issue? The XLR is 20db louder or sound might bleed from right side to left side because of crosstalk? I never had any problems with classic jack connectors.
Too bad the Focal Elex has such shitty quality control and people are afraid to buy them. If you believe the reviews on Mass Drop half the units are dead on arrival
